Dare to dream of Wind

He ran away to chase his dreams
Short of a miracle was it not?

Yet the winds of change roared strongly at night
Enter- the fierce winds of time
It will be you alone.

As you dance, I cry
Blow the flowers toward me
Free to drown me now.

Like a DJ on steroids,
I won't allow you to slice through my heart anymore,
My beautiful daughter, Windstream.

Lost In My Mind

I woke up to the sounds of gun shots
I’m not in hell, just in a prison cell I call home- Paterson
Behind these bars
The world looks so different like an atomic bomb of colors exploded while I was
gone.

Chorus

Bullets flying through the air
Cutting lives like there was a way to replace that
Like an old pair of Nikes weathering the storm after fifty years of dust and
neglect
I wish for a better place,
A nicer home,
Better living conditions for my mom

Verse 2
Walking through the streets in my mind
Never thinking about my life
I live in the past when a notebook produced my only escape
But another shot flies through the air and brings me back to reality- I’m a
murderer
Never to see light again.

Chorus

Bullets flying through the air
Cutting lives like there was a way to replace that
Like an old pair of Nikes weathering the storm after fifty years of dust and
neglect
I wish for a better place,
A nicer home,
Better living conditions for my mom

Verse 3
Adrenaline pumping as I’m ready to punch the cold bars,
But I wake up for a second time and I realize
Life continues when you die
No matter what.
And I was lost in my mind but not anymore.
I know who I am,
I know what’s right and what’s wrong,
But most importantly- I understand.

My Queen and Her Child

Run far away my unknown living child
Follow me across and up the brown stairs
For it is I whom makes your heart too mild
I will kill the sweet smell of your red hair.

Sweet queen, today you are to be no more
Please follow my cold living hand reaching
No more you are, yet death reaches no door
Enslaved you are, continuing, teaching.

I think of reaching for my hidden gun
Pray just before your sudden gruesome death
My jest toward you is not a damn pun
Silent I must not stay, even when deaf.

I can not compare your skin with one word
Turn away, I say, my disgusting sword.

Lily Pads

Green, are lily pads
Floating on a waterfall.
Clear of pollution?
Indeed I dare not say yes.
But soon there will come a day.

Be gone baby chick.

Guns

What a drag they are
Pressure rises until death
Sleep peacefully now

Water

Rushing waves crash down
A single rock at the end
Beyond beautiful.

Love

In my bag of tricks
Lays the secret to safety
A feeling of sorts!
It will make you dance silly!
Out of my hat comes true love.

Silly, is it not?
That one man gave it all up.
Not to criticize.
But to fall in love again
With someone who understands.

Confusion Beyond The Door

"I open the door and cross the threshold of imagination."

I turn to the door.
Do I leave reality?
Tell me, who am I?

If I go back will I ever be able to return to this place I now call "MyLand?"
I've stalled for too long but it doesn't feel right.
I'm leaving my friends behind, but...they never cared about me!
All they did was use me!
And what happened when I wasn't good enough anymore?- they abandoned me, left me out in the blazing heat to die.
Good-bye reality, it's my imagination's turn now.

Just one little step.
What's this beating in my chest?
I won't regret it!
One step is all it will take.
Please God, make the door vanish!
