Here Comes the Rain

Here Comes The Rain
by Cate Rock

Here comes the rain again.
It washes down like a flood,
Here comes the hope again,
Watch out for the slippery mud,

Let me run again,
Run far away,
Let my wings fly open,
I pray...

Let my broken wings take flight.
Fly out on the lake around midnight.
Let me love again
My dear Raven...

Here comes the rain
Falling from the sky.
Whips away the tears that i am forced to cry
those sweet teardrops from the sky

I shall not live another day,
For drought's threating my wonderful mist of May.

Here comes my chance again to fly out in the night.
when tear drops cover me out on my flight.

Love raining down on my Raven to be...
Rain drop love has a another love for me.

The moon tears cover me in a flood of pure passion.
The cover and in gulp me in a old way but the new fashion.

A February Romance.

Forever In February
yes the sky crys cold.
Forever in February
a day for the young and old.

February kisses
and quaint innocent misses.
I miss my February love...

By March the magics gone.
And we all cry silently alone,
won't even answer the phone.
After being left, February loves...

Children so sweet, so innocent.
Don't even know what's missin'
after the passin'
of all our February loves...

A February romance for the books,
one that surpasses money or looks,
a perfect meal from the Cupid cooks?
Oh how I loved my February romance!

It was a blast while we had it.
Cold feel it all, that adicting static,
now to hide alone in my atic...
Fleeing my past February love.

Frozen Frame Melted.

Frozen frame melted.
by Cate Rock

A seen frozen in time.
A tape i can not rewind.
I cant pull out the movie and replace it with a happier one.
I cant write the book and make this better.

I cant erase you from my mind.
...Why wont this tape rewind?

I look around and i see him.
That smile, that laugh, those warm hands.

That kiss...
All of this i know I'd miss...

That voice hollow yet warm.
Those arms that hold me and protect me from the storm.

A love so sweet...
The sweetest man you'd ever meet.

A hug a kiss... a deep passion i know I'd miss.

A song in the car as we sit and talk...
seems to have started this all...

How i love my new friend.
But should i love him?
We'll have to find out at it's end.

Come Away...

Into the dark,
far past your walls.
Into the heart beat,
that keeps time with your own.
Far past reality...
all plans carved into your stone.
Into your escape,
far into your freedom.
Passing all that does you harm,
and all that would ever do so.
You feel like you've won,
when a sound brings you back.
An alarm sounds.
Whaleing and crying,
through the mist filled wood.
I could go back...maybe I should.
I hear their dogs
and I hear their calls.
I'm forced back into the darkness
Where dreams are made,
but never come true.
Hide me from my darkining spirits,
and I'll return the favor to you.
Come away with me,
I'll show you how to.

A Dying Love.

A Dying Love.
by Cate Rock

An exposed neck.
Fangs hidden under heavy kisses.
A desire to become one with this vampire.
A dress on the floor, one more kiss,
Just one more.
I reach out for the door... He's gone to far.
I'm dead in the fire.
Draining of blood, SO much desire.
Becoming, becoming, I'm becoming one with the vampire.
Dressed in dead.
Emotions unread.
Dieing in side.
No place to hide.
Drained of hope.
At the end of my rope.
Dead at the end.
He was never my friend.

Dressed in coal.
Hundred years untold.
Buried alive.
No way to survive.
Dead past.
Nothing will last.

Forever gone...
Yet still singing my dead song...

Can'T Sleep

Can't Sleep
by Cate Rock

Dying dying.
She lays out
Cold,
Weak,
& crying.

A perfect love is what she had.
One who was always smiling
...never ever mad.

Her broken heart told a story indeed.
One of what she wanted...
...but not what she'd need.

A hollow kind of happy,
a twisted kind of hope,
a weak strain of trust.
Now to find a way to cope?

How can a leaf fall so far from it's tree?
How could he let this happen to me?

Did he not care?
Does he not still?
This rejection no one should bare!
Rage fueling me to kill.

How can a cheery blossom smell as sweet?
Why can't a penguin fly enough to get off his feet?

When will the equator bare snow?
Why in Antarctica nothing will grow?

Questions never asked have no answer.
And a mind that wanders as such grows like cancer.

Why can't I get this song out of my head?
Why cant I sleep at night in my bed?

The song means nothing...
Barely has a tune.
Just help with the pain.
Just help with anything!

Random thaughts run through my head,
alone at night crashed out in my bed.

God this song clouds my brain!
Damn Weird Al is freaking insane!

"Drive-Through" sucked
but I'm adicted.
I can't get it out...
Can't evict it...

God help me
in going insane...
Now I'm in pain.

Trying to write this here.
My mind alwas stuck in second gear.
It's not sleep or hate not even fear.
It's this god blessed "Drive Through"

Writing On the Wall.

Writing on the wall.
by Cate Rock

Writing on the wall:

Eyes shut wrists uncut.
Name spelled out up and about.
Dangerously bloody,
Not your friend not your buddy.

Dressed cold.
A love untold.

Messed up mind.
He learns to unwind.

Kisses sweet kisses.

hate? hate...
Rate debate
do what you need to do
ill stand next to you.

My Wait For Grand.

My Wait For Grand.
by Cate Rock

I walk to my shelter as the earth trembles beneath my feet.
I walk into happiness with the world on my shoulders...
I step lightly past graves and tombs,
I walk past even you...
I find my light right where i lost it...
I found it next to that grave.
I found you.

The place I left my heart...
The place where my life ended and my death started.
The head stone read "Weeks" when my heart break was years...
All i gained from coming was heavy tears...
This graveyard was my home...
Where i was to be laid...
Yet that all changed as long ago as i stared upon this old grave.

The man laid here was know to me as grand.
And grand he was...
Tall, thick, fatherly figure...
Red hair cold green eyes...
Never seen him in person yet love i still held for this guy.
His heart ever growing his mind set on peace...
Cut down in his prime...
Now he lays diciest...

Tears break down...cover my face..
Heart break to heart break this is heart breaks place.
Here in this grave yard where my mother's father is laid
Here in this place of love and hate.
I pray for him back cause with him gone I'm alone.
Here in this graveyard all so messily sown...
I look for his words all jumbled in my head...
Yet only words Ive had where the words Ive read...

So alone so misguided.
Yet i shall wait.
Wait for him again at the fiery red gates...

Hell Without a Cell.

Hell without a cell.
by Cate Rock

A tear...it falls
down my cheek
I'm still bound here by walls.
Its only truth i seek.

Love, it hurts
sin, its fun
dirt unearthed
Sun, it burns

Death has come and past.
My body learned to make it last.
Death nothing new,
If only i where with you.

The mirror in my cell a doorway to my hell...
My grace defaced.
My chains pulling me back making it such a waist...
Nothing to face just four walls and absent is my grace...

Bars none...
Yet it is a prison,
Demons...none
Yet this is hell...

Into the shadows something hides...
Its a creature on my side.
His old torn soul come to ease my pain...
He has brought me rain.

In a meadow far and wide...
No where to hide yet there is no point...
I reach for the sky.
i feel raindrops collide.

A poring rain...
A meadow with no pain.
No point in loss...
You feel nothing.

The Fallen Angel.

The Fallen Angel.
by Cate Rock

Rain falls rapidly upon a pale white face,
hair dripping, soaked in rain, and her ominous pain.

A small shapeless girl, with an upturned face,
a faithless little angel who's fallen from grace.

Her weight shifted from the one side to another,
no force in the world could push her any further.

The universe turned away,
as this young soul prayed...

"Father in heaven, forgive my pain.
Take my words for value,
and let my wings be what I regain.
Love me, my King like I love you,
help me, my God, see my side at my view!"

The worlds' cheek turned,
her wings never to be re earned.

Misguided angel falls to her knees,
misguided heart is for witch Satan feeds.

Angel in the rain, her soaked loyalty fades,
as the dark's plan starts and braids,
unfolding into a meaningless maze...
