Love's Mosaic: Finding You in Every Hue

If I ever found myself in a room full of people I've loved
You'd be there twice
Because in every person I've loved after you
I've tried to find a piece of you
If you mix together all the colors in the world you get black
And if I mix everyone I've loved, I get a mosaic of you.

Burning Love, Healing Flames

I do not feel anything
The burning flame that was inside me
Dedicated to hating you
Was put out by the love of someone
Who did not spark the fire
Now that I'm cooling down
I can't help but see that I still love you
I do not feel anything?
That fire was there only as a shield and
It did not burn away my love for you
Now that the shield is down there's no one to
Protect me from my feelings so I'll start a fire again
And the first person I'll burn is the one
Who put out the fire
It's not their fault but because of them
I feel it all again and
Hurt people hurt people.

Love's last embrace

I've spent a lifetime loving you
You've spent a lifetime running from my love
Full speed
As if it was gonna suffocate you
My love always caught up but this time
It's not as strong and it's not as quick
This time it's fading
So I hope
The air you breathe tastes sweeter
Because I will not be trying to suffocate you anymore.
