A day in the pool unlike any other
Feeling the spark of love
The water boiled between these lover’s
The passion was there
From every long hot kiss
“Oh” how entangled we would get
In every gentle touch
In every loving caress
In every gazing look
In every long deep stare
That day in the pool
Real love we shared
That day in the pool
Was all it’s own
Funny how the water
Made our love grow
On that day
We took a new road
Hitching a ride
With love we’d go
up&down & turned around
Somehow finding our way back to now
So thank you LORD
For that day in the pool
For we conquered the day
and our love ruled...

SHE CAME INTO MY LIFE
BY A KNOCK AT MY DOOR
A STRANGER WHO’S INTEREST IN ME
MADE ME FEEL FEELING’S FOR ANOTHER
I HAD NEVER FELT BEFORE
SHE WAS THE FIRST TRUE LOVE
THAT I EVER NEW
I DID’NT KNOW HOW TO REACT
OR QUITE WHAT TO DO
SHE MADE ME FEEL SO SPECIAL
AND SO ALIVE
I WISH I COULD HAVE THOSE DAY’S BACK
I WOULD’NT HAVE LET THAT LOVE DIE
THERE WHERE SO MANY TIMES
I PRAY’ED AND CRIED
THAT YOU MY LOVE
WOULD GIVE ME ANOTHER TRY
THEN WHEN YOU DID
I DID’NT EVEN KNOW
BECAUSE I WAS KILL’ING THE PAIN WITH DRUGS
SO THAT IT WOULD’NT SHOW
YES I SCREWED IT ALL UP
WHEN I STARTED CHANGING
I SHOULD’VE JUST BEEN MYSELF
THE ONE YOU HAD FELT
WAS SENT FROM UP ABOVE
AND MAYBE TODAY
WE’DE STILL BE IN LOVE
BUT INEVITABLY TIME CONTINUED TO PASS
AND THE DISTANCE BETTWEN US
BECAME SO VAST
DAY’S TURNED TO MONTH’S
AND MONTH’S TO YEAR’S
THE MORE I REALIZED
THE MORE I SHEAD TEAR’S
ITS GOTEN TO A POINT NOW
THAT EVEN TODAY
I STILL REGRET
LETING YOU GET AWAY
YOU WERE THE LOVE OF MY YOUTH
YOU WERE SOMETHING BRAND NEW
THAT’S WHY WHEN I’M ROAMING THE STREET’S
I’M LOOKING FOR YOU.

I'm not sure
just what tomarow will bring
because yesterday you gave me heart ache,misery & pain
today gave me the chance to see you'r face again
to make you smile & laugh once or twice
oh you know it's true
just like we did when we were lover's
walking hand in hand
embracing a new love
embracing a new friend
Though just for a moment
I gazed into those eye's
with all my heart & soul
I dare not try to hide
or keep the rain from rolling down
while my heart was drowning deep inside
It took all this one lover
you seldom called you'r man
could bring myself to bare
not to break down & give into, negative despair
Tough as it may be,to smile while we cry, sometime's it's for the best,if we put the hurt aside
though not forever,just at least until it's time
to deal with what we can & let go of what we must
or at least we must try
if only to help heal, the unintended pain's, we'v placed on each of us
That's why I've made this decision,hard as it may be for me at times,even tougher for one to
keep
This promise of compassion,from this worn down soul,not to loose myself in hate,or loose
my self control
but remember to show warmth & kindness through open hearted understanding
for there surely is another hurting,& taken by love's tole
So an oath to myself I'm making,for true love I'll be waiting,with every heart beat aching
longing for thy real love,to come around & save me
Untill that fine day,when ever it will be
to keep a part of my heart open,for the one that's ment to be
for if I loose sight of how to love

WITH HIS AWSOME POWER
GOD CHOSE A PLACE
AND HE NEW THE HOUR
