Navigating Life's Uncertainty

In life's uncertain journey, where paths diverge,
Some will stay, some will emerge.
Amidst the flux, where trust is tried,
We learn to navigate the changing tide.

With every disappointment, walls may rise,
As faith in others slowly dies.
Yet in our own integrity, we find,
The strength to weather storms unkind.

But some, they build their walls too high,
Afraid to trust, afraid to try.
Alone they stand, with hearts grown cold,
Their fears a story yet untold.

For expectations, silent and sly,
Can shatter dreams and make us cry.
In placing hopes on others' shoulders,
We find ourselves growing bolder.

With each setback, a lesson learned,
In boundaries set, resilience earned.
So let us walk with hearts both brave and true,
Embracing life's uncertain hue.

For though the road ahead is unclear,
In being ourselves, we find what's dear.
So let us hold our standards high,
And let our fears and doubts pass by.

A love's fading flame

In the beginning, a tale so sweet,
A love blossomed, oh, what a treat.
He painted dreams, of us together,
Promises made, to last forever.

His words, they wove a golden thread,
In his embrace, I found solace, not dread.
But as time passed, his touch grew cold,
His love, once fiery, now timid and old.

I chased his love, like a fleeting dream,
But in his eyes, no love did gleam.
He held me close, yet kept me at bay,
His silence spoke, of love's decay.

A friend he became, in times of need,
Embracing my heart, with care and heed.
Yet beneath the surface, a truth did lie,
His love, a mirage, bidding goodbye.

Now tired of chasing, love's fading flame,
I sense the embers, whispering my name.
For in his silence, I find my release,
To let go of love, and find my peace.

Virtual Veil of Love Unseen Strain

In the realm of our digital embrace,
A bond was formed, a unique space.
Yet amidst the pixels, I feel a strain,
As if my love is met with a silent refrain.

Your support, a beacon in the dark,
But distance leaves an empty mark.
I cherish you deeply, yet feel a divide,
As if my affection is on a constant ride.

I extend my hand, seeking a connection,
But your response fuels a sense of rejection.
Is it love or obligation that binds us tight?
Or am I imposing on a love not quite right?

In the maze of our virtual affair,
I tread carefully, aware of the air.
Longing for the day when we'll finally meet,
And our bond in reality will feel complete.

Till then, I cling to hope's soft glow,
Loving you from afar, though the distance may grow.
For in this unusual bond we've found,
I'll find comfort, even when it's profound.

Echoes of the Unseen Path

In the quiet of the night, I roam alone,
A solitary traveler, far from my own.
Solitude's echoes, a song all my own,
In this undiscovered realm, I am alone.

No trace left behind on the path I tread,
No whispers to comfort, no words left unsaid.
Just the heavy beat of my heart, like lead,
In the wide expanse where loneliness spreads.

Above, stars twinkle, distant and cold,
Witnesses to stories that will never be told.
In this wild, uncharted space, I behold,
A solitude deeper than tales of old.

Yet in the void, a whisper of grace,
A glimmer of light in this desolate place.
In solitude's embrace, I find my own pace,
A journey unique, no one can retrace.

Alone, but not abandoned, I remain,
In this unexplored domain, I sustain.
A pioneer of solitude, with strength untamed,
Hand in hand with the unknown, I maintain.

A Love Unrequited

Deep within my heart, a love abides,
For the man of my dreams, my soul confides.
Yet, though he tends to my every need,
His affection falls short, a wound indeed.

Each passing day, my yearning grows,
Every part of me, longing shows.
But amidst the care, a pain I find,
His gestures sometimes leave me behind.

An act, seemingly small, yet cuts so deep,
Leaving my heart to silently weep.
Was it deliberate, to stir my fears?
Or simply misunderstood, through my tears?

I wish I could release this love's tight grip,
But with each attempt, deeper I slip.
Dreams of a future, with children in tow,
With him, my heart's eternal glow.

So here I am, torn and torn apart,
In love with a man, yet feeling apart.
For he holds my heart, yet keeps it at bay,
Leaving me yearning, day after day.

Echoes of a Mother's Love

In distant lands, I roamed alone,
Leaving you behind, our bond unknown.
Each day apart, a silent strain,
Yet our love endured, through joy and pain.

Your tender heart, a beacon bright,
Guided me through the darkest night.
Miles away, my soul did yearn,
For your embrace, my love to return.

Promises whispered, bridging the gap,
Conquering distance, no looking back.
Upon my return, a revelation shared,
My secret burden, you tenderly bared.

Your keen perception, a gentle guide,
In your love, I could confide.
Though I hid my pain, behind a smile,
In your eyes, I found solace, for a while.

With your laughter, my spirit revived,
Together we faced, what life contrived.
Now against a foe, we stand tall,
In your love, I find strength, through it all.

For you, my dear, my guiding light,
In your embrace, everything's right.
Through tears and joy, hand in hand,
Together we'll conquer, a steadfast band.

Know, my love, through thick and thin,
Our bond endures, forever within.
In your eyes, I find my truth,
My eternal treasure, my fountain of youth.

Mom's Radiant Love

In the quiet embrace of cherished memories,
I long for your laughter, your playful ease.
Your teasing ways, a balm to my soul,
In your love, I find my role.

Dementia's shadow dims your light,
Yet your essence shines, ever bright.
Though your voice may falter, your love prevails,
In my heart, it forever sails.

Each visit home, a moment divine,
Seeing your face, a joy so fine.
Grateful for your presence, your enduring grace,
Wishing for more time, in this precious space.

May God grant you days, filled with light,
To bask in love's warmth, day and night.
For every smile you bring, I'm endlessly grateful,
My dearest mother, your love is so faithful.

I love you more than words can tell,
In each moment, I wish you well.
You are my anchor, my guiding star,
Forever cherished.

Journey to Heart's Harmony

In the depths of longing, I yearn to find,
A love that echoes, both heart and mind.
I wish I never answered the call of pain,
For now, I'm lost in love's uncertain terrain.

He made me fall hard, a tumultuous ride,
Yet in his gaze, I saw love's gentle tide.
But now I'm left to ponder, in silent dismay,
If my love for him is reciprocated in any way.

It's a bitter ache, this love unreturned,
A flame that flickers, with doubts unearned.
To love so deeply, yet unsure if it's true,
Leaves me wandering, lost in the residue.

But still, I cling to hope's fragile thread,
That true love awaits, just ahead.
May the path I walk lead me to thee,
My true love, where love flows freely.

So let me wander, let me roam,
In search of a love that feels like home.
For in the end, when the journey's through,
I'll find my true love, and it will be you.

A Soft Place to Fall

It's okay Inna, I'll be a soft place where you can fall," he said,
In the midst of chaos, a soothing flow, his words spread.

When tears stream down like raindrops in the night,
"It's okay Inna, I'll be a soft place where you can fall," he said,
His gentle voice a beacon of light.

In moments of doubt, when fears arise,
"It's okay Inna, I'll be a soft place where you can fall," he said,
With him by your side, no need for disguise,
His love, an anchor, in life's tumultuous thrall.

So rest your weary soul upon his care,
"It's okay Inna, I'll be a soft place where you can fall," he said,
In his embrace, solace rare,
Through the darkest of night, his promise shall tread.

Sisters United, A Bond of Love and Faith

In the weave of life, my sisters stand tall,
Each with a role, answering the call.
Pansy, the eldest, with firmness in her stride,
Her care unyielding, never to hide.

As a home caretaker, she tends with might,
Her presence a pillar, in the darkest night.
I wish her to find love, amidst her care,
To know her strength, beyond compare.

Nonkululeko, the joker, with wit so bright,
A caregiver too, in sickness and in health,
Her humor a remedy, for life's stealth.

With jokes and fun, she brightens our days,

Ntsiki, the youngest, with fire in her soul,
Supportive and strong, making life whole.
Good with cars, a hustler indeed,
Her determination, a trait to heed.

In their strength, I find inspiration anew,
Their resilience, a guiding light through.
I'm thankful for them, and all they've done,
For their unwavering support, we've won.

Together, we stand, united and strong,
A bond unbreakable, where we belong.
Though we each have differences at times,
Our sisterhood thrives, like rhythm and rhymes.
May nothing, no one, ever come between,
Our sisterhood, a treasure, forever seen.

So here's to my sisters, my pillars of life,
In joy and sorrow, through struggle and strife.
May we always put God first, and never forget,
The teachings of our parents, in God's love, we're set.
