Angels Among Us

Angels are among us – in many different forms,
The flowers in the garden or a rose among the thorns.
We may never know where they are watching from,
But they are there from dawn to setting sun.

They may be a friend that calls to check on our day,
Someone who offers a smile or has something good to say.
They may be a warning sign placed in our way,
A hand to hold while a child is at play.

When in life the storms may come, and destruction all around,
They bring us peace – place our feet on solid ground.
God sends the Angels to help – no matter how big or small,
God sent the Angels to pick us up whenever we may fall.

Some times our days are long – and our prayers to God we pray.
But it’s good to know that God hears, and the Angels are on the way.
There is nothing that God cannot do for us – if we place our trust in Him,
For all we have to do is pray, and the Angels He will send.

So remember that God has a special Angel just for you,
And no matter where we walk – God and our Angel will see us through.
There are Angels among us – A blessing send from God.
To help us and hold our hand no matter where we trod.

Being Kind

Being Kind.

Being kind is the right thing to do,
It will always make its way back to you.
In a world where there is so much hate,
We should make kindness a way to communicate.

On every hand there is so much despair,
Why is it so hard to show love and care?
Knowing right and doing wrong, should not be the way,
But sharing our love should be shown in what we do and say.

It is our duty as children of the Lord above,
To be compassionate and show our love.
Don’t walk away, when you can lend a hand,
Most of all, for God we must take our stand.

The old and young, any color or creed,
It should be our business to do a good deed.
Embrace with a hug, or say something nice,
Being kind shouldn’t be hard – or made a sacrifice.

Your kindness could make someone’s day,
Just by the kindness you’ve shown in something you say.
I truly feel we should replace all the wrong and hate,
And make kindness a way to communicate.

You’ll be blessed by doing something good,
By doing what God said we should.
Just remember to show a smile, and be truly kind,
You’ll see its way back to you - you will certainly find.

A Broken Man

A Broken Man.

A mans heart may fail, and beat slowly,
A mans eyes may dim, and not see as clearly.
A mans strength may weaken, and his pace may be slow.
A mans thought may be confused with disease.
A mans voice may change with age.
A mans touch may be altered with pain.

But a man is not known by his age or strength,
But by the friends he has made along the way,
And by his kindness his life will ever be restored.

He Is There

He Is There.

No matter where we go, God is there.
There is not a place He does not share.

We may think we can run and hide,
But God is always by our side.

He knows what sin we may have made,
And with our prayers He can make them fade.

He knows each drop of dew that may fall,
And He knows the sparrow when it calls.

He knows the place of each grain of sand,
And holds the stars in His hand.

By the whispering of the winds, we can hear His voice,
And by the songs of birds – His name rejoice.

Don’t ever think that God isn’t there,
No matter where you roam – that road He’ll share.

Get Well

Heard that you weren’t feeling well today,
But God has heard and will answer when we pray.
I’m trusting that God will touch you, and everything will be fine,
And see your smiling face and how you always shine.

Tomorrow will be better, and Gods blessings are true,
So, be encouraged and just know that we love you.
You’ll be up and around before you’ll even know,
Sharing that wonderful smile you have and all the blessings bestow.

So, take care and rest, don’t over do your day.
Just take a little time to rest and do what the doctors say.
Don’t be in any hurry, to run and races,
We want you back to greet all the friendly faces.

We know you’re stubborn, and strong it is no doubt,
But just remember that won’t win you any clout.
Here is my advice, and listen to what I say,
Get lots of rest and take care, tomorrow will be better day.

Get well –

Harvest Time

What a beautiful sight, the snow settling on the ground,
All are so different, not one alike can be found.
Winter has come, and the earth at rest,
For all Gods creatures have taken nest.

Have you noticed the birds as they line the fence?
Holding on as they perch, and the wire pulled tense.
The evergreens touched in snow so white,
So beautiful – and such a grand, and touching sight.

The streams even slow and as the water flows,
And the moon cast shadows on the snow below.
The crystals form, and the water slowly freezes,
Each creature speaks a prayer of slow spring breezes.

The clouds so grey, and the blue rarely peeks through,
Winter has come and the warm days are few.
As the days pass, and the cold air breaks,
Spring will arrive and the earth will awake.

Each creature will sing, and rejoice with a new song,
So happy, and joyful for winter has ended – and it was so long.
Let us rejoice and bring forth praises to our King,
As we gather together and praises we sing.

No matter when – spring, summer, winter or fall,
God is there and love for all.
Our Lord will never leave, no matter what season,
He is what keeps us going – no matter what reason.

Rejoice.

A Mothers Love

A Mama’s Love.

Words can’t tell the love a Mother gives,
How precious and compassionate the life in which she lives.

She sweeps her children close and protects them with her love,
And prays for God to hear her words in heaven above.

She is willing to lay down her life, if that is what it takes,
For each of her children, and forgive each one of all there mistakes.

Her voice speaks clearly, and some times she needs to be stern,
She never allows her heart to wonder, never far from concern.

She can kiss away the hurt, or bandage a skinned up knee,
She can even help her little one down from a tree.

So many times her prayers are often hid, no one ever knows-
To keep those little ones well upon there toes.

Her heart has been broken oh so many times, and her eyes filled with tears.
But she has agreed and knows that her love must last for many years.

The shoes she’s tied, and the buttons pressed through there holes,
Her prayer is always that God will save, and keep her Children’s souls.

She watches each day, and see’s her small ones grow,
And she is so proud of them, a smile she often bestows.

A Christian Mother is a blessing to her small and little one.
Her love is needed from the rising of the morning sun.

God bless each, and every Mom all over Gods land,
And keep her with us, and in our hearts –and blessed by Gods hand.

A loving Mother is more precious than any treasure every found,
I’m sure you feel that yours is the best than any around.

Don’t forget to hug, and love on mom today,
Let her know she is so precious, and loving in her own special way.

Precious Time

Precious Time.

This truly is a precious time that we all seem to share,
Being with friends and family that we all love and care.
Our homes filled with decorations of color and of green,
Such a beautiful time – the meaning so serene.

The baby Jesus born upon this day,
He brings us joy, hope and happiness all along our way.
This season seems to be so busy, running here and there.
We need to remember why, and to all we should share.

We feel a gift must be bought, and given and exchange,
But we have been blessed by the best of all- by His precious name.
It seems the world has forgotten the meaning of this time,
How Jesus was born, and died for your sins and mine.

So keep Christmas in your heart all year long,
Keep the meaning alive to those you meet – keep it very strong.
Share a little love, send a warming smile, and say a prayer or two,
Don’t forget the gift He gave – all for me and you.

It truly was a Holy Night when our Lord was born,
Let the trumpets sound – and blow the mighty horn.
Joy to the world, and good tidings bring,
Merry Christmas, and Happy Birthday to our Lord and King.

The Star

The Star.

In the sky over Bethlehem a star once shined so bright,
To announce the birth of Jesus with its wondrous light.
The wise men came with wonder and precious gifts,
To honor the new born baby and holy hands lift.

They had heard the news, and knew the star would lead the way,
The announcement was out; let us seek Him they all did say.
They were determine to worship and they traveled so far,
They would be led by the wondrous shining star.

There journey brought them to the baby Jesus on that holy night,
How beautiful and wondrous He was held within there sight.
Upon that day, and the years to come – the world would never be the same,
How Precious, holy and glorious – Jesus – the precious name.

Wise men still seek Him, and His name still reigns upon the earth,
Books have been written, and songs sung about His birth.
He truly is the King of Kings and Lord –praise His holy name.
Ever since He was born the world has never been the same.

Bow and praise Him, let our voices ring with joy-
That on this Christmas day – we celebrate the birth of this baby boy.
Counselor, Savior, Abba father and most of all our King.
Let us worship Him with tidings – and carols we will sing.
