What Does S Stand For

What does S stand for
Not the best of meanings
Let's learn a bit more
And with synonyms, I'm teeming

Sinister, Satan, Snake
Someone who's fake?

Stressed, Stirred, Spite
Somone not feeling right?

Serious, Strict, Stern
Someone who's firm?

Secluded, Shut-in, Strange
Someone thought to be deranged?

Sappy, Sad, Sorrow
Someone quite holllow?

The denotation is simple
The 19th alphabetical letter
But the connotation is different
I find it must better

The serpent Satan caused great sin
Secluding Adam and Eve from Eden

Suffering and sorrows don't matter to him
For goodness comes from within

Some stupid snake started sin
And he would do it all again

And although it starts with an N
The S is narcissist lies within

I've described her with these words indeed
And like the snake, she feeds on grief

Her sorrows and stresses
She lashes out oh so frequent
Her life made of multiple messes
She never seems to see it

Palestine FAL-ES-TEEN

The bombs wailed out
In terror they scream
Her fears come to life
He was only fourteen

A young boy whose life is gone
A mourning family whose life has changed
A murderous government supports change
Isreal lay waste to beautiful homes

Isreal crushed them with bombs
Thousands of natives crushed under stone
Yet told to move and stay calm
So they calmly meditate in prayer

They ask the world to like and share
They ask us to speak up
For citizens to be made aware
Palestine has traditional crops and culture

Isreal acts like vultures
Picking away at Palestinian land
75 years of Israeli torture
But they sing out

The mother still screams
She knows without a doubt
This is what it means to be from Palestine

Claude Frollo

For I pry my damnest
Her legs of an oyster
For they do not give way
Thy lacking in moisture
This night of great troubles
It pains me so
My loins are aching
Her pearls glow
A beauty to behold
Her spirit roam free
I have created her cage
A fear she will never love me
To control her is to have her
An immature thought
And that I believed
These urges I have fought
In her presence I seethe
Thy rage boils over
I'm loosing my control
As well as my composure
I feel her in my soul
My body aches with words unheard
For I cannot help it
This fire, it burns

Nine Months

Nine months to create you
Yet grief is insurmountable
She knows you will leave soon

Plucked from their homes and families
Hundreds of thousands sent to slaughter
A disgusting fight over nothing
It pains every mother and daughter

Boys given tools of destruction
Guns and bombs handed to every man
They are convinced this is worth
To die at the "enemy's" hand

Nine months to create you
Nine seconds to kill
Politics takes precedence
Start writing your will

Men shipped off for a gruesome fight
Years later only few come back after war
But now that this one has ended
Another causes suicide rates to soar

If only time could turn them back
Once young boys teeming with dreams
Now aged and souless eyes they are
Boys turned men due to PTSD

Nine months to create you
Far more years to raise
But the government doesn't care
I implore you not to become a killing slave

Narcissistic Consumption

The sun falls into the ground once more
As has happened the day before
How content I may appear
But please, look between the looking glass
Please, you must look past
Past my facade, Im trapped inside my mind
The circumference of my skull is my cage
Im running out of precious time
I see no chance of escape
A mind of madness, they call it
And so I would agree
My failures regularly consume me
I cannot keep from wondering when it will end
My mirage of mirrors, ceasing quickly as it began
How tender youth aid and abed my delusion
But with age comes confusion
But with age comes heartbreak
But with age comes responsibility
But with age comes headache
Yes, they say misery loves company
And it does, for I do
And one day I may speak those words to another
Our tender love anew
So we may dance together
And my thoughts may consume him too

Hidden Greenhouse

In her eyes alone
They radiated with light
When shone to another
No longer a beautiful sight
Why did they whither?
Not appreciated among many
And how it broke her heart
But she still watered them plenty
Locked away from the rest
They sat in wait
For a time and place
Where another may appear
For a moment of magic
Another face as dear
Other acceptable beauties were gazed upon
So why us locked away?
Other worthy ones were revered
So why do we rot and stay?
The flowers felt neglect
Even with nightly hugs
The flowers felt unsightly
Even with kisses and love
The flowers grew restless with envy
Once a vibrated greenhouse
Now a relic that's quite empty

Existence Without Cause

Strung along, I am a fool
Always working for others
Once branded a handy tool
Foot on my neck
Boot lodged for good
I barter and sweat
A soul without identity
I work and work
Free food and amenities
However no ambition for more
The days stretch together
A day's work leaves me sore
Trapped by a leash hand-sewn
Never in search for better
I could have done well all alone
A life of nothing, wasted among time
Perhaps I could've done more
If you ask, I'm doing just fine

Unfulfilled Potential

My words can’t translate
The eyes of the world wait
Hesitation catches in my throat
I can’t read or see
Something else has control of what I’ll be
Stumble around in the dark space I occupy
My life flips across my mind
What shall become of me?

These forces are forcing a blank that is drawn
The interpretation of my thoughts has come to a pause
Where is my remedy?
My emotions and soul aren’t on one accord
The actions I take make less sense than a chessboard
What shall become of me?
I turn to the elders that know less
I turn to a world of lunatics and madmen
Do you know what I see?
Insanity
