Journey of Man

A man woke up with big dreams,
He set out bravely, or so it seems.
In the woods, his axe did swing,
Creating towns, a remarkable thing.

Complexity soon took its hold,
Cities rose, stories untold.
His mom's wisdom, he'd ignore,
Seeking more and more, for sure.

One day, he stopped, remembered when,
His journey first did begin.
Lost in thought, he paused a bit,
Till an alarm rang, breaking his fit.

"Too late," he sighed, with a heavy heart,
Back to work, his ambitious part.
He'd continue to chase his dreams so true,
In this endless march, he'd pursue.
