Ziya Oberoi Poem
The meteors crashed tonight
but they didn't catch my wish
cause I'm still crying in my room
praying somehow i get to you.
Just let me dream of you again.
Bless my eyes with the scenery of you smiling;
oh its the never-ending pain.
How your eyes turn to crescents
and glisten so bright;
the melodious sound of your laugh,
Is all I'm missing tonight.
How do i endure and witness you falling for someone else?
Tears dwell, is it happiness or my heart breaking in silence?
It's the night of meteor shower again,
but we're still walking different lanes.

Ziya Oberoi Poem
Immune to judgement;
I run away from my happy days,
can't believe I could have hapiness too.
though words hurt a lot more,
they heal a lot more too.
There are days when i feel most alive,
im too scared to disturb that beehive
that sphere of my life.
I wish to change,
want new beginnings;
but what if the stings kill me before i can see it?
I search for some semblance of humanity,
but all i see is clouds of vanity
repelling each other since we're all the same
I dont know what to say.

Ziya Oberoi Poem
I see a massacre
of a thousand different versions of myself.
The leaves flutter,
heralding the only living specimen of myself.
I've always been a warrior
but it's a lonely night.
Sometimes i wonder, if i'd have died a thousand times
if self loathe was a lethal crime.
I deserve another chance;
its too soon to give up on myself.
Its time to give a glance
in the mirror that i hid so well.
I jumped in this hell, I'll find a way out.
What i made of me, i wouldn't doubt.
