'simp'-Pathetic

Naive in my ways,
I always seem to fall for the same "vixen",
You know the type,
Short, thick, fair skinned beauties from the land of milk and honey, that just happen to be in a relationship,

Naive in my ways,
I always seem to fall for her simplistic "deception",
You know the type,
"I love you, I miss you, I never want to lose you", all in a seductive way that send my common sense to sleep,
.
.
.
Pathetic in my old ways,
I always seemed to love her even when she hurt my pride,
Even when it hurt my heart,
I always seemed to let her get away with it.

University Confession

"Tell me, is it wrong to feel this way,
A tender kiss shared amongst friends,
is this the birth of something grand or ultimately the demise of the beautiful?"

This thought crosses the shallow regions of my lustful mind every once in a while,
And when our eyes meet, I'm torn between choosing to cherishing our friend or indulging in this seemingly ever fading attraction we seem to share when we are alone.
I then Begin to Question where I can keep being your friend even if i don't make a move,

Mistakes tend to destroy homes but make for great memories.

My Tender Downfall

Your lips will be my Downfall,

I think I lose a bit of my soul when you kiss me slow,

Hug me tighter as I draw my last breath,
Because your touch will be the end of me.

And under the gaze of the heavens, she asked me:
"if you could be anything else in your next life, what would tickle your fancy?"

Nonchalantly I responded:
"whilst being tormented by the desire for beautiful women has it's merits......... if and truly if i really could be anything in the next life, I'd still choose to be your lover, friend and confidant always".

And of course i was lying through my teeth, but after that moment I began to wonder if I would ever love a female wholeheartedly .
