Depression

The wave of sadness washing over me,
Trying to solve this is not my cup of tea.
To hold in all this turbulent emotions,
I am in the need of some advocations.

Why does everything has to be so hard?
Can't I just let my feelings discard.
No one would be able to attune,
As it is invisible to others almost immune.

Not able to withstand,
Just in the need of a helping hand.
Or maybe I am just imagining all this,
But that false hope, is just a wish.

Girl Child

Hey! Look it's a girl child,
On hearing this he went wild.
'I don't want that curse' , he said,
All his conditions were laid.

Her mother cried the whole night,
When he said "remove her from my sight".
She took the girl and left him for good,
Wandering without home without food.

The girl grew up to be strong and bold,
Numerous stories of hardships she was told.

                                                                     ~Jia

Lost Hopes

Now what can I say about,
There are so many doubt.
A thing that is crystal clear,
Is that I don't like it here.

Because of all the drama,
Having a feeling of despair and trauma.
Not able to learn or put my mind,
Not a single solution I am able to find.

Trying to restrain my emotions,
Wanna need a magic potion.
To handle my tears,
And to face my fears.

Big Dreams

My dreams are the sole focus of my life,
And in my mind they are as sharp as a knife.
Doing hardwork and enduring all pain,
And not wasting any time in vain.

To make my parents proud,
So that they can shout out loud.
That their daughter has achieved something great,
And has created her own golden fate.

To cherish the moment when I achieve my goal,
And being satisfied from my heart & soul.
My future as bright as a moon,
That day would come soon.

                                                              ~ Jia

Corona

I am talking about a time,
When the whole world was in quarantine.
And everyone was stuck somewhere,
With lockdown after lockdown that didn't seem fair.

Then came the demand of everything being online,
With an alarming rate of decline.
As Corona and unemployment soared,
People were sitting at home bored.

Many lost their loved one's life,
Although they tried to thrive.
But this epidemic had set thier lives ablaze,
And everyone was in a state of daze.

Failures

It's okay to make mistakes,
Nothing much is lost at the stakes.
And one failure is not ultimate,
So it's not good to hate.

Instead you should learn from it,
About how to deal with all this .
And move on with a steady pace,
Towards success with a determined face.

Mistakes does not mean failures,
So it's alright to shed a few tears.
But don't be in despair,
As their are many chances, life is fair.

Past Doesn'T Matter Anymore

It does no good dwelling on the past,
So let's focus on the future that's vast.
And don't make me remind,
Of all the mistakes I left behind.

It doesn't help to feel guilt and shame,
So forget the mistake, it's lame.
Instead remember the lesson it taught,
And the wisdom it brought.

The past doesn't need you anymore,
Your future self is waiting for you to adore.
So keep moving towards the goal,
And SATISFY your SOUL.

It's Hard Being Girl

It would have been easier if I was a boy,
Atleast I wouldn't have to pretend to be coy.
So I don't have to question myself,
Would it be safe? Or will anyone help?

Someone staring with eyes full of lust,
And it is completely unjust.
To put the girl on blame,
While that someone has no shame.

Is this the only purpose of my life,
To be a good mother and an obedient wife.
These four walls is all I knew,
I want some freedom for me too.
