Kanzazy Hutchins Poem
Mountains crumble no more to be
Oceans of woe since you left me
Thunder rolls and my heart it breaks
Humbly life ends, my soul it quakes
Everlasting grief with no mend
Reminds me daily, it will not bend
Inconceivable, this pain I bear
My love's not gone, together we'll share
In lasting glory at Jesus' feet
Serenity and grace, oh how sweet
Salvation unites on heaven's shore
Yesterday's gone, tomorrow brings more
Only a moment in time we wait
Until we meet at heaven's gate

Kanzazy Hutchins Poem
Unlike the shoes on most men's feet
My daddy's shoes were not so neat
Though myself and sisters dear
Wore good shoes we need not fear
And mother's shoes on tiny feet,
Unlike my father's were always neat
My daddy's shoes were like a book,
Telling the story of the steps he took
From hill to hill and row to row,
Another chapter each time he'd go
Just like his life his shoes did show
The way he lived and made things grow
Always dirty and torn and tattered
A hand me down all worn and battered
He lived his life helping strangers and neighbors
His shoes a witness to his labors
And by his shoes his works be told
A long white robe and shoes of gold
In Memory Of
Lucian Franklin Adams
A Man Of Greatness And Honor,
May We All Be Richer In Heart And Spirit,
Because He Walked Thru Our Lives,
Written the night my father died
Daddy I misss you!!

Kanzazy Hutchins Poem
On the day of July nine
In the year of ninety and six.
Her heart was so pure and so fine
But too weak for the surgeon to fix.
Her eyes still shown bright as day
But her frail body had wasted away
Her smile as warm as the love
That she gave through Jesus above
She knew she would not pull through
But not one moment of sadness or blue
Did she cast to her loved ones there
Who waited and prayed for her care
The Day was the twelfth of July
The hours ticked endlessly by
Many friends and family too
People I never knew
Came to say their farewells
To a sister who with Jesus now sails
On a peaceful and gentle tide
To ever abide at his side
As the service came to a close
And the time was as everyone knows
To cover her body with earth
Though her spirit had now a new birth
From out of the crowd stepped a child
Who's heart like her grandmother's was mild
She picked up a shovel and prayed
As everyone stood there dismayed
Some tried to keep her from her task
She looked to her Grandpa with eyes that ask
He said to those who had tried
To stop this child at the side
Of her grandmother's still open grave
With shovel in hand and heart so brave
Let her be was his reply
She's strong enough I won't deny
She then began her chosen task
Permitted to do what her heart had ask
Shovel by shovel and tear by tear
Her respect paid true to a lady so dear
At the tender young age of only ten
This little girl whose life has been
Directed and sculpted by the events of that day
And by the grandmother who taught her to pray
Just ten precious years she shared with her here
But forever in her heart her grandmother is near
I am the mother of this brave little child
And never has any heart been so mild
The day was the twelfth of July
And to my Mother I said good bye
A new strength was shown to me that day
In the child I had birthed and taught to play
Grandmother's shoes are not easy to fill
But with a heart of gold and the strength and will
She to this day has been my best friend
In absence of Mother my rock to the end
Now twelve years later a woman full grown
No longer here with me, elsewhere on her own
No matter the distance in miles or in time
She still fills the shoes of that Mother so fine
And knowing her task will never be done
She looks to the Heaven's, The Father, The Son
But also she looks for a glimpse now and then
From the Grandmother she knows will hold her again

Kanzazy Hutchins Poem
We all know, “There are Angels Among us”
Appearing to us, in disguise
This is a little, poetic story
About an Angel in my eyes
At first she seemed, to be as normal
As any other, we may meet
But as she grew, I learned to know her
It was clear, she was unique
Soon I noticed, a strangeness about her
And it appeared, to be intention
Realizing that, her incongruities
Was her way ,of harm prevention
The fire was, her first acknowledged
She saved me from, an early demise
By persistence, she did warn me
She is an Angel, in my eyes
On the job, twenty-four/seven
When I myself, did not realize
Sent to me, straight from Heaven
She is an Angel, in my eyes
As I slept, she was beside me
Alert to every breath I took
She learned the nuance, of my being
She studied as though, I were a book
Learning every minute detail
Of the life-force, I partook
In restful slumber, at my bedside
She made this spot, her “special nook”
To a cold wet nose I wakened
Then there came a strange surprise
To warn me that, I was in Danger
She is an Angel, in my eyes
She had perceived, the changes in me
She knew that there, was something wrong
She had to wake her sleeping master
When I was weak, she was Strong
Shaking hands and labored heartbeat
Cold and clammy, I did feel
Wake up, wake up, my sleeping master
For it is time, for your next meal
Diabetes is, an evil demon
It attacks in many ways
And when it creeps into my slumber
She is watching, and she saves
Many times, she has roused me
So the danger, I’d realize
And by doing so, has saved me
She is an Angel, in my eyes
She taught herself, the skills she needed
As she learned, where I was weak
To be of service, to her master
And to do it, so complete
I did not witness, her descent
As she entered, from the skies
Protecting me, was her intent
This “Special Angel”, in my eyes

Kanzazy Hutchins Poem
The greatest gift I've ever known
A special angel I kept till grown
Sent straight to me from God above
A precious soul for me to love
He gave to her a heart of gold
And smile to warm me in the cold
The strength to stand up tall and proud
The will to take on any crowd
A love for life beyond compare
Desire to treat all people fair
Courage to look fear in the eye
Reach for the stars and touch the sky
But now my little girl is grown
She'll face the world on her own
This angel God has lent to me
Must fly to with another be
May all your precious gifts of God
Stay with you as through life you trod
And every time you touch the ground
Your love for life can still be found
To touch someone to help them see
The love and kindness you give so free
And may you be forever part
Of the memories in their heart
So my special angel dear
Spread your wings and have no fear
And to the world be solid gold
Then look back when you are old
To see the multitude of grace
In the hearts and on the face
Of every soul your life has touched
We all should pray for just as much
The dream of every heart that's mild
To change the world so cruel & wild
But you're one of the chosen few
Who has the gift to carry through

Kanzazy Hutchins Poem
But You Do
You didn’t have to take on the responsibility
You didn’t have to pick us up the way you have you see
You didn’t have to buy us clothes or shoes for our feet
Or put a roof above our head and give us food to eat
But You Do
You didn’t have to be there to hold us as we cried
You could have just kept walking, completely justified
You didn’t have to be there when no one else could stay
You didn’t have to show you care or ever look our way
But You Do
You didn’t have to shed a tear or open up your heart
You didn’t have to hold our hand or even make a start
You didn’t have to be there when we had a desperate need
You didn’t have to hold us close or perform the smallest deed
But You Do
You didn’t have to take us in as though we were your own
And vow to keep us under wing till we were fully grown
You didn’t have to try to teach us what we need to know
You didn’t have to feel a thing or ever love us so
But You Do
Written for a friend who has adopted 2 children who's biological parents were
imprisoned for drug trafficking

Kanzazy Hutchins Poem
Dream with her and you will feel, your own reborn to life anew.
Allow her to be herself; don't try to make her you.
Uplift her self esteem and feel, your own soaring high.
Give her your world to tarry in, and she'll teach you to fly.
Hold tight the precious memories, of her every days.
Thank God for lending her to love, teach her of his ways.
Exclaim your love at every turn, never let her doubt.
Remember life before she came, how'd you live without?

Kanzazy Hutchins Poem
When we were young we stuck together
Side by side through all kinds of weather
Then as we grew we drifted apart
We went our own way, followed our heart
Chasing our dreams through thick and thin
But just look where we are together again
Neither fate nor chance has brought us here
But the brotherly love we hold so dear

Kanzazy Hutchins Poem
My heart focused, on the scene before my eyes
Not until I stood there, did I realize
The reflection of the world now at my back
Is covered by the surface, of that marble track
And just as the image, trapped inside the stone
I find myself amidst the crowd, yet totally alone
Awe struck as I stand here, camera ready, aimed
I’m covered by the blood, of the thousands named
I must capture this moment, for all the world to see
The men and women who live here, died to keep us free
This shot must be perfect, if it takes me all the day
It must portray the message, the reflection has to say
The visitors are endless, as time goes slowly by
I stand here in this presence, and I wonder why
War goes on forever, like reflections of the sky
I am angered and I’m saddened, by the harshness that I face
Why does the fighting never stop, no winner of this race
No peaceful end to the day, what has been will be
But the day I stood there, I knew they died for me
So listen to the message, from those who took the fall
It’s hidden in reflections; in the tomb we call the wall
