Favorite Weakness

Mixed feelings
Boquet of thoughts
Hot now
Cold then
Infusion of emotion

Want to let you go
Want to hold you near
So far
But close

Make me cry
Make me smile
Leap for joy at thoughts of you
Your voice
my sinful delight
Guilty of missing you

Terrible weakness
You are to me

Pinky

Smiles, Hope, Dreams
Joy, Anxiety, Hushed voices
The thrill of the unknown
I lay in wait…….

Opening my heart, ripping apart my sadness
Tugging and lifting my happiness
I know it’s finally here……..

Forgive me if I do not spare you time
Understand me when I smile brightly
The cloud of uncertainty is no more
The rain is gone and the SUN has come

I smile, she smiles
I coo, she coos
I now know she is mine and will always be

She fills my days with untold pleasures and joys
An angel redefined
A pinky in her own shade
The treasure that fits the dig….

She hopes, she smiles
She cries, she sighs
She dreams

“My hand will be your grip,
My feet will be your path,
My eyes will be your sight”
That is my promise.

Arise now!
For your day has come to ascend to occasion
Wear your crown with honor, MY FRIEND!!

Today I pass the challenge over; so you may be finer as:-
A woman, daughter, sister
And someday, Mother…….

Pale

The distrust inflames me
A tainted image
An angel fallen into the flames
How could he?
He stained my fantasy
Stabbed my trust
Maimed my dreams
And now all i have are ashes of what could have been
A dream killed too soon.

Chances

Anger
Resentment
Unforgiveness
Tears of the soul

Ears of the heart
Listen to my heart
Open your soul
Embrace tomorrow

Arise dawn
let the dusk not conceal u
Shinning star
Wishing upon today
The sun will shine
Tomorrow will come
The Moon will give birth to my day

Pages

Interesting turns
Another tale
Old chapters
New chapters
Page by page
Day by day
Dawn to dusk

Different shades
New faces
Hellos and goodbyes
Tears of joy
Mourning
Happiness
Sadness

Another day and i still flip the pages
Till i get to the last one
Visions of the last frog
End of this book

Start another of two as one
Visions of prince
hand in hand
we'll start another book
Each day, page by page
Down memory lane

Omubbi -"thief"

Like a thief at midnight
He came along
Sending whispers down my heart
And shivers down my spine
Entrapped in his line,I was

They say he is a master of all trades
But he passed my way today
And even I was caught unaware

But then he opened his eyes
And lit up my life
And everyday I hope
He never blinks
That this light never dies out
The one that makes me smile.

Rainbow

A cocktail of my feelings
Shadows of fantasy come alive
The images toy in my mind all night
Will they come true, i wonder?

Friends

Carry me, if I should trip
Lend me your hand, if I lose my way
Walk with me when I get lonely
Smile with me when things get brighter
And when a tear falls, wipe it
Hug me when I am frail
And when things look so dim, I am hoping you will still be beside me
And when the darkness comes, let’s lie and watch the stars
And weave our dreams all night…….

Blind Date

I am sitting here
Wondering what to say
How to say it
Painting a picture

I sigh
Memories of yesterday flash
A distant smile creases my face
Your jokes, they make my day
No kiwani, am for real
As real as the sun that rises and sets

I see you in the eyes of a dream
In a piece of music
In a plate of delicacies
In a garden of roses
In an answered prayer
Until I see you, I will hang on to these images
