Wolfcub

Your eyes carry the moonlight of ages past

Your lips poised between intrigue and knowledge

Your gaze more eloquent than any voice

A rage to shake the ocean's floor

and tenderness to still my mind

October Tenth

Oh wolfcub, time is not my friend
Can't rest till you are here
This mockingbird will take its leave
Only when you’re near
By now you will be waking
Encased in your own time
Roll over and you'll feel my touch
Trail gently down your spine
Enjoy the morning sunlight,
Night will follow soon
This time will pass, till then my love
Howl softly to the moon.

My Heart

You loped into view
And my senses awakened
Your energy leapt out, and shook my dormant heart
Even before I spoke my name

I’d given up on ever finding you
You only lived inside my mind
In dreams of wolves and seeing-eyes
One who could take my mind gently by the hand
With eyes to see my soul
and warm it by the fire in yours

You’ve known me from birth to this moment
Your soul’s breath flows now in my blood
Your touch has flooded my mind
Leaving me stunned in your presence
My heart has found its home
And every beat belongs to you

Kayoyáw Muks Wiyonah

I hear it
Its rushing around me and tearing me up now

I feel it
Caressing my skin as it drinks from my mind

I see it
In shadows in corners, in passing the mirrors
its taking me over
and pinning me down
Stirring my blood with
the touch of a sound

Its watching
each move that I make getting ready to take me

Its waiting
Keeping me right on the edge of the night

Its grinning
Carving its scene on the back of my eyelids
the breath on my neck
feel the sweat rolling down
Given my soul to
the touch of a sound
