Funny

Jokes need laughter but
No laughter was concluded
The joke must be you

Weren'T

You weren't here you where there
You weren't mine but you where hers
You weren't the one I needed or the one I was searching for
You weren't truthful but told your stories well
I was there
I was yours
I was everything you wanted and more
I went with your stories even though I knew they weren't true
Why was I not good enough for you
You weren't what I needed but you were what I wanted
But it's okay
Either way we both got what we wanted
You weren't it though and I wasn't either
We weren't truly the ones we needed for eachother

I Love You

I'm happy I found you they said
I'm happy you're still here they said
But are you?
You say you love me but you don't kiss me nor hug me
You say you love me but you called me an acquaintance and walked off without a peep
Do you really love me?
Or the idea of me?
I need real love
I need someone to be able to look at me for two seconds and notice something is wrong
I feel like nothing when I have no one
I need your smile to cheer me up
I need you to roll my tears back into my eyes
I don't need just your words to show your love for me
I need more
I have learned love can be real or fake
Don't lose the people you love unless you never loved them in the first place.
I loved you

Give Up

Trying is what made the task harder
You try to make others happy
You try to hold back your tears
You even try to fix yourself
Piece by piece you realize you are still the mess you have tried to push way since you were in middle school
You wonder why people tell you not to give up since every time you try everything crumbles
Thoughts get worse
You lose friends
You lose memories
And most importantly you lose yourself

Imagine

You saw the news today but you pretend you were never on that channel
You hear others talk about the deaths but the signs of it being gossip is everywhere
Your mind switches from what is happening
Instead of looking at the weapon pointed at a child's head you look at the issues of the politics instead
You could be out there throwing your heart out with words but you stay inside watching the court decide on whether tiktoc is what makes the world burn
Mabey we are the problem
We also have to blame the most wanted instead of blaming the least expected
Instead of looking the shootings in the eye you blame the teachers for not being quick enough
Or the students for being too loud
Do what you need to be happy is what you think instead of helping the wounded that is all around
Mabey if you spoke your mind instead of paying a dollar or two for a cause at the store thinking that it will be enough for the pained
You don't have to be a hero but atleast you can be an adult

I Guess

We possibly tried
I mean I guess we did technically try right
And I guess me being the way I am made it end
I also guess that none of it was your fault
Right?
I guessed it all
No one gave me answers
No one gave me that chance of actually knowing what was happening
Why didn't you let me fix it
Instead you let me estimate how much I meant to you
I had to guess mostly everything for our relationship
I guessed that since I was mentally unstable I was the cause of failure
But if you cared
If you even thought of me in anyway it would have been different
But I guess I wasn't good enough for that
We will never know though
When all you have is predictions the fact can be hard to find
Guessing through life doesn't always make it right
I did never guess how much I loved you and how much I cared
I knew
I knew I loved you even if it hurt others and I still do
I care
I wish you luck on your journey even though the predicament your in doesn't mean I will never see you again
When we are old and satirized I promise I will see you again
I will never guess on being with you before or after we die

Empty

You walk down the halls with chatter illuminating every corner you walk through
But it still feels as if you are by yourself and only yourself while your mind is filled with thoughts you would never say to another individual face to face
EMPTY
You walk to lunch with your stomach growling
You sit down with your friends
Your head shimmies down to your crossed arms
You feel as if everyone is uncomfortable with your sadness and your inability to let out how you're really feeling
EMPTY
Eyes start watering as you stand up from the table
You walk to the bathroom in a normal nonchalant way hoping no one would notice your blotchy face and scratchy voice
You sit down in a stall
Knees to chest
Head to knees
YOU FEEL EMPTY
Tears fall
EMPTY
It rings from ear to ear
The silence
The wippering
Even if anyone else was with you to try and resolve the situation you would still feel
EMPTY
So instead your alone
Alone and craving for someone to fix you
Knowing only you can fix the emptiness inside

Orange

The color of hope
The color I wish to see staring right back at me
The sun sets
Orange of the souls rise
The sun rises
Orange of the reminders of their love sets
No one ever loves Orange
But you make me want Orange in my life forever
You deserve better then my bright red
But mabey we can make an even brighter color together??
