Michael Stebleton Poem
A man once sat at a park bench
When he smelled a peculiar stench
Then right out of the sky
Fell a whopping bird pie
The man's wore a hat ever since

The sand crawls slowly
Great dunes arch toward the sky
The desert sun burns

Dew forms on a leaf
The morning frost is over
It brings a fresh scent

Clouds blanket the sky
Soft, billowing puffs of air
They roll by slowly

Michael Stebleton Poem
In times of parting, sorrow does reign
Yet a face of calmness and dignity we feign
In a world where material things are the measure
A true friend is, indeed, a time honored treasure
Saying Goodbye. It should be a crime
For Goodbye is a memory frozen in time
But when two friends hold love in their hearts
A matter of distance cannot keep them apart
Though time may elapse, though beauty may fade
There's a longing in our hearts we cannot evade
When the sky fills with rain and the sun doesn't shine
I'll cherish the dreams that were once yours and mine
In order to cope with our division
We must strive to meet a single provision
Wherever we are, whatever we do
We must always remember our friendship is True
