A Course To Be Plot

Proclaiming the works of unknown sources,
to ensure that what was once lost can co-exist within the new found world.
Thousands upon millions of years of history lost, some hidden,
while the rest forgotten.
Though none the wiser as to how it all came to be.
Vastly spreading throughout the known regions of the land,
mounted on steeds made for kings.
Finding uncharted territories.
Those touched by the hand of man,
while others remaining cleansed of it.
Perched upon a mount so high,
gazing out across the skies.
Every being wishing to find it at the source.
Humanity will fall at its best just to acquire it.

I Knew a Man

I once knew a man who had no fear,
walked tall and strong when danger was near.
Fighting for the ones he loved so dearly,
and a resting place above.
Known far and wide for the deeds he had done.
Shown high on a pedestal,
but no more than a mere man.
Aged with the years of wisdom that only few can obtain.
Hands roughened from the years of hard labor,
but still soft enough to care.
I knew a man once who is now gone,
grieved by those left behind.
Left on a journey we all one day would like to be on,
flying high up in the sky.

Footprints

As I walk along the beach, waves crashing upon the sand, and a gentle breeze blows through
my hair. I stop. A puzzling expression crosses my face as i look behind me at the trail
created. Footprints, how they are layed out before me. Only if in all aspects of life
could you see your trails left behind. How would that be bestowed upon us?

Unknown Qualities In Man

Drastic changes occur in which I do not intend.
Helping one who is in need has always been a weakness.
But the fact of bringing it up to another is incredibly hard to overcome.
Understanding something that doesn't involve you cannot be done,
especially when it is drawing near.
Now its not always this life and death situation that is seen in most fantasy worlds,
thats a little far off the edge.
Ones feelings are intertwined within every situation,
some are hurt while others flourish.
Sometimes the unthinkable must be done.
Ensuring ones safety is always a top priority,
and should forever remain that way.
For knowing that all creatures can be unharmed,
should be a price that is worth paying for.
Most of all without sacrifice.

Whats That Feeling You Get

Moments that we share,
seem oh so rare.
To find someone like you,
honest and true.
How i want to hold on to.

What we have can't be shared.
Simply ours to bare
We shall rise and fall,
but together conquer all.

Passion that flows through your fingertips,
while touching my skin draws me near.
Every time you kiss me my heart races out of my chest,
not being able to contain such an embrace.

Having the thought of knowing you'll be there,
with just a whisper in my ear.
I can't show you how much I care.

Through your captivating eyes and smile,
my world comes alive.
Not being able to stop all the crazy things I do,
because I've fallen for you.

While I lie awake at night,
wondering how i found you, my light.
Wanting to tell you how I'll always be there.
For you I want to care.

The Questioning of Ones Inner Self

Questions rise and fall away, due to the fact if I should stay.
Burdens lay with this old town, never more will i have found.
The pains caused by a once grieved past,
trying to linger near.
But without hesitation i take the fall,
putting myself into a new situation.
Even though it could be wrong, I have made the choice.
For I seek what can't be found,
And therefore must look in the places unknown.
Ones that have not been reached,
to realize the full potential of myself.
No matter the boundaries that i have drawn ahead.

Foreclosure: Dawning of a New Age

Pondering on the thought of dictation spread quickly through my brain.
Being overseer of such a world as this is frowned upon.
Within it such turmoil and desperation.
Everyone being needy of desires that are untouchable.
None with moral standards whatsoever.
It is highly unlikely you could find such a world.
Without mayhem and chaos.
One at peace, harmony, and tranquility.
Acquiring such would be a tremendous achievement.
Though no one has gone far enough to try.
The world is coming about to the brink of its own destruction,
an end to all that is known and will be.
For one nation sought power over the rest,
and in doing so may find more than bargained for.

My Path

Past transgressions and future recognitions,
but a path only i walk.
Trying to find the problem at the core.
Heart rate rises and accelerates to undesirable speeds.
Frustration running through.
Blind by the thoughts of happiness,
even though none will come true.
Ascending down from worlds unknown.
No mere mortal able to withstand the insanity.
Dangerous paths lie before me,
but only one meant to be taken.
And its a path i must tread alone.

Regret

I am a man trapped between two worlds,
torn apart by the very things that hold me together,
with a saint at my left and sinner on my right.
And only God knows what I'm going through.
Things don't always go the way they are expected,
and for some better than others.
Time takes it toll on each man differently.
So now i come to you with the very fear that lives within,
one shared among us all.
The fear of Regret.
It tears and rips us apart until we are no more,
and all we have left is our souls.
Wore down from the insanity that has bared down on us.
We'll pass on in this life and some will never look back,
because we are scared.
We try to outrun our pasts but we can't,
it is inevitable.
They always seem to catch up with us in the end,
no matter how hard we try to run from them.
