Am I Human Or Machine

Am I human or machine ?

Do I live as I feel
or learn to just be ?
Do I trust what is real
or accept the illusions
of lets make a deal ?
Do I think for myself
or accept their altered facts ?
Should I passively restrain
or should I curse and fight back ?

Am I human or machine ?
A question, I myself have asked

I Must Learn To Be Strong

I am but a being,
trapped in a world that I must face
I am but a soul,
caught between the fire and heavens gate
I am but a mortal,
with no power to right the wrongs
I am but a heart,
that others can break
I must learn to be strong

My eyes see
My ears hear
My emotions feel,
both comfort and fear

Though I walk in the shadows,
I know there is light
For at the end of nights darkness,
there is always the dawn....
I must learn to be strong

Weathered the Storm

I have explored the depths of my mind.
Searched my soul.
Called upon my heart,
trying to figure out,
who I am,
trying to grasp,what it is,
that I want

I have questioned the world.
Challenged life itself.
Gone against the norm.
I have rode the ride.
Reached for the sky
and cursed the day I was born.
I have weathered the storm.

I realize;
who I am, is who I am,
what I am, is I.
One day I was born.
One day I will die.

I have weathered the storm.
