Hope

The man wondered, "What is hope?"
Metacognition defined, it's nothing but a dope.
The heart objected to the proposition.
And told it's an ambiguous anticipation.
The prefrontal cortex made the reasoning disentwine.
And equated hope with the level of dopamine.
The enterochromaffin cells rejected the cortical rationality.
And signified serotonin's vitality.
Posterior pituitary smiled sarcastically.
And illustrated oxytocin's role affectionately.
The man woke up out of this exasperation.
Though dream, but intrigued by the imagination.
He asked," Is hope just a chemical state?"
Consciousness whispered it's not that straight.

Infinity

Gazing the stars in the heaven
Contemplating on the mysteries of the hidden.
Counting the petals of flowers in the meadow
Astonishingly its Fibonacci sequence though.
Diving deep into the cell nucleus
Phi ratio of DNA makes me curious.
Does infinity lie within everything?
That made my mind gawping.
Perhaps our destination is infinity.
That gives our soul serenity.
Like two parallel lines
Destiny will make us align.
At infinity we will reunite
To rejoice in the moonlight.

Sacrifice

Every day the mouse thinks of being sacrificed
And counts its days of life glottalized.
But the mouse is somewhat complacent
Cause the care of human is complaisant.
The D-day comes
The mouse realised crises
And exclaimed, Humans are so egotistical!
Perhaps more statistical.
While in eternal sleep the mouse pondered
Do human hearts have become cloistered?
Not all but some, indeed
They give hope, only to recede.
The mouse sacrificed its life for human benefit
Yet human brought another one as refit.
