Just Keep Trying

The verdict has yet come in,
The pleas and sympathies,
Are running thin.
No lights at the end of this tunnel.
The curtin,
Begins to close.
One last horrah,
For our ole' boy.
It's curtain time,
Once again.
Cannot call this one,
The seventh inning streach.
The end of act four,
The crowd jeers loudly.
Just Keep Trying

Dark Cloud

Covering my heart,
The scab of sorrow,
Holds back my emotions.
To taste the satisfying drink,
That quenches my thirst.
To live my destiny.
Opening my eyes,
I peer,
Miles away,
Only to smell,
The pugnant oils of death.
Deciet has taken up room,
In my dark,
Gloomy chamber,
Of dense despair.
Closing,
The heavy oak door,
To my mind.
Changing channels,
To rainbows, daffidils,
Looking toward the harizon.
Taking flight,
On eagles wings,
Flying away,
From the dark cloud,
Filled with doom and dispair.

The Bell Tolls

Its not an option,
You no longer have a choice.
The Bell Tolls
The sound of the door,
Begins to open.
It preys at your heavy heart,
The family slowly proceed,
Toward the front of the altar.
Cries and tears,
Saturate the thick air.
The ministers voice,
Cuts open,
The secret of silence.
The Bell Tolls
The casket lowers,
Tears dry,
Roses are frozen,
In dead space.

A New Season

A NEW SEASON

The city has been laid siege,
Distruction and pillage are all around.
The walls of the city,
Have fallen to the ground.
A new planting season has begun.
Large harvast begin to reap,
It's bountifulness.
The inhabitance of the city,
Celabrate a new growing season.
Voices of children,
Playing in the town square.
The sun kisses the new season,
With a large harvest.
A celabration begins,
The new year.

Deceit

DECEIT

The scale has tipped to disfavor.
Lights are slowly being adjusted to dim.
The room becomes colder.
DECEIT
Thunder and lightning ensues,
The ground rumbles and quakes.
Lights at the end of the tunnel,
Have been removed.
DECEIT
A wall of water,
Is coming your way.
The billboard spells-castrophe.
No room to run or hide.
Time has finally run out.
DECEIT

Ten Seconds

TEN SECONDS

Time is of the essence,
Every tick of the clock measures your accomplishments.
It's not clear what you will yet become,
Your destine for greatness.
With hopes and admirations looming,
A cloud of misfortune and disbelief appear.
Over the horizon,
As the clock loudly strikes twelve,
Dreams and visions of greatness,
Peak through the darkness.
Time fades behind the clouds,
