Anticipation

delicate charming
listening soft spoken
kiss each touch

Hold Me

It's summer here now
as the clouds float by drifting
gripping roots hold me

You Move Me

Those eyes...
That smile...
you use them both...
you move me
where I've been...
places that I've seen...
situations inevitably...
bringing me before you
God has blessed this man...
those eyes...
that smile...
you use them both...
you move me

It Almost Always Brings a Smile

solar powered energy make literal
sunshine electronics in a style
and when your vindicated
it almost always brings a smile
in wind whispers sounds of electronics say
pressed buttons held together... all to my dismay
so sequential and in good time
when lyrics make music and those words make rhymes

Night Time

the moonlight shines here
the winds voice softly repeats
where are you my love?

Caught In a Daydream

quite coherent and aware
eyes wide open
so continue to stare
here's where the tempo picks up
and the rhythm maintains
caught in a daydream
pause in a refrain

My Love For Her

More than I could ever imagine it could be
You could never understand where she takes me

Looks at me with that sparkle in her eyes
Ovations come from every smile she tries to hide
Volunteering herself to my needs
Even putting up with my attitude (hard to believe)

Forever my love to her and not another
Opening new chapters in our lives together
Relishing ever touch,every kiss...it's her I long for...it's her I miss

Having a relationship with Jesus, spurring us on to be better
Evidently our love is ordained from above, sustainable in any weather
Romance in every kiss...I've always told her,I never knew it could be like this

Morning

Pushing the button
Hot water through crushed beans
from plants that grew
far away from here
sleep sand dunes in the corners of my...
eyes focusing heart rate increasing
as reality chases away remnants of
the nights dreams
a slight stretch with yawn
sub consciously preparing...
the body for whats next
stepping outside
hearing the melody of birds
mixed with the interstate sound effects
I pause to...
take it all in
flashes of my dream get through
taking me
far away from here

What a Game

The stance of the batter
the pitcher like a hungry hawk eying it's prey
keenly with roving eyes checking those on base
the sun beats down, smells and sounds fill the air
the pitcher begins to prepare
he doesn't seem to notice
the sizable lead off the player on first has taken
some root for the coming instance
some try to warn of the impending danger
wait
the wind up begins
the player on first has already said his farewell
the moment seems to pause
so many eyes focused
the pitcher turns to react
the player slides
we all anticipate different scenarios
my friend,my friend
what a game
