Goodbye My Child

Rest my angle, lay down your head,
You do not sleep you have not fled,
I feel your essence in side my heart
a pain so great to be apart,
Memories are stolen yet still we have few,
i thought we had forever of me and you,
your smile still upon your face guiding you to your heavenly place,
you must now go, don't watch me weep,
For angels so dear we can not keep.

Only Human

Are world is full of ordious pain, fretting and fury, angst and bite,
Our world is destroyed by a virus's hate a twisted venture of uncaptured domain,
For the free run nieve and the captured expell hope,
A blood drained society of hardship and plight,
plundered by the weak destroying full might,
we can stand and face these horrors still,
Bellow with feelings of change we will,
But still we'll sit with head in hands,
and watch the suicide of our mother land.

Alls Fair

I can see you there, your eyes may shine laughter but I see through,
Your holding up that champagne glass and nodding with enchanted excitement,
But I see through,
Does she see you from across the room,
Or does she see the shell of a hollow man,
A man wading through a life of vanity and greed,
A life of envy and unobtainable endeavours,
Do she see you as I do?

I sit be your side as they all clap like monkeys to a type writer,
You throw your head back and flare your arm enraging profanity and pride,
Even they don't see you as I do,
She still sits, that scarlet devil with eyes burning like abandoned embers,
The churning jealousy she holds of me by your side almost echoes around the room,
As I sit with my smile resting in place staring back as if to whisper
" he's mine"

The charade has ended and I stand to my feet,
He steadies me with the strength of a thousand steaming trains,
and I feel that burning in my throat as if it was the first day we met,
He leans to my ear for reassurance of his accomplishment,
And as I nod his smile beams like that of a thousand suns,
His eye meet hers and I turn with burning hate and envious fury,
She may be his wife but oh,
She doesn't see him as I do.

Loving a Hero

Awaken the mind in a misty haze, an ever lonely shadow looming over a frame of discontent.
He is gone for a while and one day soon farewell forever shores,
The distance rips like tides to the stone, driving emotions forward onward, upward and
downward.
Safety is the key to silence and hearts rest, yet blaring cannons of hate deters the
feeling of harmonic awe.
The sound of the voice so plain yet fulfilling to hear of success and captured glory,
Yet all is false and ignorant to the unseeing eye and from the end of contact comes the
beginning of uncertainty.
Many moons and many hours across the lands and hills and mountains, a journey of slight
yet a carrier of so much.
Itchy feet on mothers ground,
A sigh, a hug, a heartbeat.

Lost

Sitting still and watching as world flows by in a buzzing light
Am I noticed?
Engines and sirens wiz by with noise that pierces and echoes, drunks crawl streets in a
haze of smoke,
Am I noticed?
My childhood lost and adulthood yet to be gained
Am I noticed?
I wake and I sleep, I eat and I do, I love and I care but never do I cry,
Am I noticed?
For in this world the devil reins free, ripping the souls of the innocent and feeding them
to the weak
Am I noticed?
For in this life we all lead paths, to laugh to learn to inspire
What inspiration do I offer; I hold their hands and feed them full
I mop, I work and oh so I ache
Am I noticed?
Still sitting and watching in a world of self hate, unfulfilled and unaccomplished
Am I noticed?
I see the child across the street, being dragged behind the demon that is bellowing in his
ear, his face contorted with fear and pain, but concealed for only the pain ridden to see.
She slaps his face with aggression and hate, his small body flies grazed by the ground but
he does not cry,
He is my inspiration, the strong, the powerful, the overcoming of the battle and then I
stop overpowered as I put my hand towards the devil encrusted figure and scream
Is he noticed?

Silent Sands

the emerald sea flows so free,
as the dancing sun smiles upon me,
My windswept hair and ecstatically embraced face,
en captures the moment of this freedom pace,
the children have buckets and adults have fans,
Oh how I love to play in the sand.
For one day soon will we still be free as the talons of heat flicker on me,
Time flies by in a wind of haste,
Crashing upon us at such a fast pace,
Figures rush around in my head,
memories of the life that I've temporarily fled,
And as I wipe the dropped ice cream from my knee,
I realise that this is the life for me.
