Tyler Dorety Poem
You closed the door and never came back
Then you made me realize the things I lack
I have to open my eyes to see my flaws
I have to open my ears to hear the call
Lead me where it may I will go with faith
I will go easy and confident and I will not be afraid
The days will be long the nights will be cold
I will find the truth wrong and lies so bold
I will fix what I see wrong
That has been needed for so long
Someday the world be set straight
And I’m not going to sit here and wait
When you come back I’ll be a changed man
The one you made realize he can do what no other man can

Tyler Dorety Poem
2 long years and countless tissues
Soaking up blood and tears cause I love you
I’m not sure how long it will last
My head screams that I can’t love you
My heart insists that I have to
My conscience doesn’t think we’ll pass
All of the walls
And all of the hate
We can do our best but we can’t fight fate
The fact of the matter is we cannot rest
Love can’t live when our hearts are dead
We have to make it past the bed
This is not how we should live our lives
When my eyes close and I’m off to sleep
My hate for you causes me to see
It’s impossible to stop this crash
I can’t miss the fire that surrounds
Our burning bodies as we go down
But I miss the love that gave me such relief
That hole you call a heart screaming so loud
That I didn’t know what I was talking about
When I said there’s no way we will pass
All of the walls
And all of the hate
We can do our best but we can’t fight fate

Tyler Dorety Poem
You hold her down and you never let her go
Wishes for happiness and tranquility
Wishes for feelings she will never know
But she tries her best to abandon the hostility
You patch it up and think it's ok
But it boils underneath
It will show it self another day
Just a knife waiting in its sheath
You couldn't do what had to be done
you wouldn't take no for an answer
Now she's gone, hating your guts
And you are left here to suffer
All the apologies and all the fights
They quickly come and swiftly go
Think you have solutions to make it right
But you have no clue and you don't really know
But one day it will hit you
Square in the face
That she was the perfect person
Stuck in your horrible place.

Tyler Dorety Poem
The fact of the matter is we ignored the matter of the fact that we were wrong for so long.
He went in the hole inside his soul to find the solution to the pollution that clouded our minds
for all that time.
We just wanted to hear so loud and clear the voice that made the choice to leave us blind for
all that time and apologize for all the years we spent in tears trudging through his lies.
Yet when the end had begun and it was all said and done, there was no turning back to to
the past that wouldn't last to pass our last breath drawn upon death.
So who am I to decide if he dies for his lies and time he thrived on the cries from the lives of
the damned?
Therefore could it be that indeed it was we who blindly did lead society from the reality of us
being damned?
I'd rather forgive and forget than to live and regret the sin that I let rid my request for Him
to just let me in and rest lest I be damned/
So my question to you is: Will that muscle in your chest know best for the rest of tests in the
quest that could bless you in the afterlife?
Or is it up to that meat in your skull to null the dull lull of the hymn of sacrifice?
So let he who's without sin begin to condemn him then, ...
Lest you sould be damned.

Tyler Dorety Poem
I met this girl
But i can't decide
Could she be my world
Or just a cheap ride
That is up to me
It depends on the path
I take through her personality
Before i choose i must do the math
which path should i take
What What
Do Kind
You Of
Look Panties
For Are
In You
A Wearing
Guy? Tonight?
If this be the path I take If this be the path I take
I might find my perfect mate I will feel my bed shake
Maybe spend forever happily A one night stand inevitably
Is this what it was meant to be? Is this what it was meant to be?

Tyler Dorety Poem
Spedding down the straight away as i make my way around
The wind is blowing by, drowning out all the sounds.
The rubber on the pavement soothing my grief.
The pulse of my cylinders handing me releif.
Lights, stripes, and people beoming a blurr.
The line of victory not much further
The horses gallop all the faster.
It could pay off or end in disaster.
But either way i will go down in history.
As the worlds fastest man or the biggest fatality.

Tyler Dorety Poem
Return to me like nothing is wrong
Like time had no affect on me
while you were gone so long
you thought it would just be that easy
just to let you know
thats not how it works
our love can't grow
when hate stays and lurks
but the hate is your own doing
with no one to blame but yourself
so there is no way i am going
to help you drag your sins off the shelf
you will do it on your own
just like i had to do it on mine
imagine how this love could have grown
but you can just leave and know that the fault was not mine.

Tyler Dorety Poem
so this guy goes to school
he knows what happened but keeps it cool
dreading the innevitable long day ahead
regreting the decision to get out of bed
takes the whispers in like a champ
attention drawn to him like a moth to a lamp
but he stays persistant and ignores the puns
he rules out suicide and forgets bringing guns
because he knows the truth and thats all that matters
he can live with rejection and all the chatter
even though he will have to live with out his child
which even the thought can drive a man wild
he has been stressed to the greatest of distortions
about his girlfriend's incognito abortion

Tyler Dorety Poem
On a calm and quiet day,
with me a man shared his wisdom.
Yet he told me each and every way,
to not be like him
It may sound odd
Yes, yes I know
But he brought me to God.
And how he makes hearts glow
I was told of miracles
and wonders beyond belief
A man that did the impossible
he fed 5,000 and lead the blind to see
I was blown away
The man left me in awe
He even said the light of day
was caused by this great and wonderful God
He carried on and on,
About these wonderful acts
Then he was gone
Before i got to ask
how do I live the life of exellence
Just as he did before me
I noticed what replaced his presence
Carved where he sat was W.W.J.D.

Tyler Dorety Poem
Darkness is my friend?
But light is not my enemy.
Which one should I end.
When they both take care of me.
Darkness keeps me exploring.
So then I seeks light's glow.
Light keeps me believing.
Darkness can be a haven.
When light draws the attention.
Darkness removes the light that's given.
Light drives away the darkness and tension
One day I will decide
And one will be left alone
Until then they will divide
My mind and all that
I OWN!
