A Cruel Disease

Alzheimer's or Dementia 
They are both the same
A disease That has No cure
That eats away the brain

It takes away 
their memory 
And everything 
they knew

Some days they 
can't remember 
Even The closest 
ones to you

They try so hard
Think of your name
But get confused 
And can't explain 

They Start to panic 
Sometimes they cry
They look for help
But don't know why

Feeling helpless 
Or in the way
They try to tell you
But cannot say

Their eyes look sad
And tired to
A blank expression 
As they look at you

You wish that you 
Could turn back time
Go back to when They  
were in their prime

Just to talk
About their day
If dreams came true 
That's what I'd pray

But all you have 
Until you part
Is the memories You keep 
Within your heart 

So don't give up 
Do not ignore 
Cause Nows the time
They need you more
And when that day
Will finally come
They will remember 
What you have done

No Winners

There's never a
True winner 
When it comes 
To War

Even when the
Battles won
Both sides have 
Lost much more 

Many lives 
Have perished 
Never to return 

They leave behind 
Their loved Ones
For them to
Grieve and yearn 

But that won't stop
The fighting 
The blood shed
That's been spilled 

As long as 
Their triumphant 
Their mission 
Is fulfilled 

Then at the end
What have
You gained 
A blood soaked land
That you have stained

So is it really 
Worth the cost
For all the men
That you have lost

Just to gain
The upper hand 
And take from them 
A piece of land

Get the Help

Living with depression 
is so hard to take
Pretending that your happy
But knowing its all fake 

Each day you put on 
Your happy smile 
And carry on 
Like you've done 
For a while

You go through life 
Day by day
Plodding along 
It's the only way 


Making out all is well
But deep down inside
Your going through hell

To scared to speak
Or asked for help
Not wanting people 
To know how you felt

Outside your fine 
Inside your not
You tell urself 
You've lost the plot

No where to run
No where to hide
Keep Saying your fine
While Knowing you lied

But there is hope
There's People who care
Not just to listen 
But Advice to share


So don't give up
And don't give in
Don't let it beat you
Don't let it win

You still have so much
Life to live
And so much love 
That you can give

So ask for help 
Pick up that phone 
And just remember 
Your not alone

Don'T Wait

Life is so,  
very precious 
But has an 
end date to

So always tell 
your Loved ones 
What they mean
To you

Tell them that 
you love them
Never let it wait

Cause when that 
day Approaches
It will be to late

Don't say you'll 
Do it later
And push It 
To one side
 
Or think you
Will feel stupid
Then regret 
You never tried 
 
For Tomorrow
Is not promised

Only those who've 
Lost a loved one 
Will understand 
The pain 

Of waking 
every morning 
Knowing life 
Won't be The same 

Your hearts been 
Torn to pieces 
The pain It 
Never ends 

It does in time 
Get better 
But your heart 
It cannot mend

So carry on 
That we must 
And in God's hands 
We shall trust 

To keep them safe

Till our turn comes 
To walk towards
