Trauma

Silver knife in the heart
Twisting
Crystalizing off of fear, building a fort to disappear
Forever
Black shadow upon my chest
Sucking the happines from my soul and leaving me among the rest
Empty
Running away from the stress
Choking on the truth
One neglect after another
Chaining me in a dark room, sunlight never shining in
A doll to control, stealing from the innocence
Taken while conscious, and gifted voidance

Understanding

When I give love I become an unending light at the end of a tunnel for someone.
And sometimes that light blinds me.
It might even blind you.
But understand that it's better to feel the warmth of those beams than to be in complete darkness, and unable to find your way through.

Daydreaming of Gold

Full of love
Shadows on the wall
Ghosts in your head that lay in your bed
I'm outlining your movements with my fingertips
Counting the times you give me gold
My heart yearns for more each time
So I can spend it on love
Thoughts of you on my skin
Breathing deeply, letting you in
Daydream gold has fallen into my bed
I cant get you out of my head

-

Gifts of love
Lips to ear melodies
Siren of the deep
Drag me under
Take me further
Please me
Free me
Let me go
Watch me fall under your eyes
Taken advantage of my heart
Make me feel special and bright
No support to hold me up, soon as your words leave I fall out of sight
Through fantasy and reality I'm one with you
I sink to the bottom to reach you too
What's left under my pillow is fools gold
Deceiving my eyes to think I've caught such a priceless find
Deception I'm left to find
