My Saddest Song

In this I tale to all my tale
of the life that I’ve been through
And if I write this tale of life
Then the tale I write be true
And if found false beyond reasonable dought
may all my name be cursed
For I tell this tale with all my word
and what left my word be worth
In truth I write in sincerest hopes
that of it you may read
Though I pray you hold no sorrow dew
for no sorrow is due to me
The time has past that alas
my heart be lost at sea
For the tide at last has freed me of my past
my selfishness and greed
And all it left is a broken glass
that reflects my sorrow and grief
As the fall does turn the trees to bare
upon the fall of the final leaf
A vacant field of smoldering ash
from the casualties former flame
Is all that’s left to gaze upon
upon the battle plane
And as I lift my eyes to gaze
and reflect on the lands fall
The coldest grievance echoes through my head
saying I could’ve stopped it all
The distant words of an old negro spiritual
begin to recite inside of me
Oh what peace we often forfeit
oh what needless things we meet
And should be should scapegoat
on what alter may our faults bare
For all this do for we do not take
everything to god in prayer
Though always I hold these words in my heart
and of them I do believe
My faith bareith not enough to trust
for my faith be incomplete
Though complete enough to sustain in you that I do believe
that you know the level of my faith therefore you won’t deliver me
And in this I bare my deepest woe
for in you my last hope lies
For the angels that were all once hear to stay
have to all my grievance died
And name the murderer who sins
name the committer of these deeds
And in that name my heart doth break
for the murderer is me
So now as I stare at the dead war grounds
of what use to be my home
I hum the tune of the beast Jawloon
for it be my SADDEST SONG

Tears of My Brain

This is the ending New beginning its over children daddy did it, It is finished so
father into thy hands I commit my spirit I feel it its coming closer the sun is just
growing colder, my soul lord is yours for the taking cause hatred is all over, from
public school corners to the media that reports us and show us as being nothing
more than just an enormous, pain in the side of the world, and make sluts out of
baby girls, and make butts out of baby boys, who grow up around this noise, and
knowing nothing in school, but how to act like a fool, and it’s cool till you grow up
knowing nothing to do and they wonder why we crazy when the hatred you gave
babies, ends up catching you at last and biting you in the ..., it hurts don't it homie
when you really stop to think that you spilled so much human blood with what you
did with a little ink ova da kitchen sink runnin water tryin to swallow that pill cause
genocidal is he who sits on top of da hill now tell me whats wrong with this picture
listenin to other Mr.’s use words to go against us and talk about all our sistas, and
call dem out of their name the b's the h's and a's and they act like its ok for men to
come up and say things like it's not a problem when fathers don't know their
daughters, and they get all hot and bothered, Sorry nobody taught 'em, and they
say that its common sense well how common is common sense when my mother
had to struggle hustle and use it all just to pay the rent, now if it takes a village to
raise a child and a father to raise a man then yall clear up somethin for me help me
to understand what you call someone like me here walkin around when my momma
had to raise me cause daddy wasn't around or nowhere to be found in a lot of
cases many people facin the same situation on a daily bases, and basically it boils
down to a lack of consideration and aggravation caused by the men of this nation
and as far as it comes to facin with diversification the laws of education may not
allow for segregation but the bases is buried deep within the bile’s of legislation of
the emancipation and extermination of our whole negro nation, what I'm sayin is
what they really showin the youth with the rims and the caddies is that this is our
compensation for you not havin a daddy we ain't worried about you gettin it
because of the facts see you'll be dead long n your grave before you can feel out
the tax sheet, we ain't meant to survive we're meant to be blamed we the scape
goats of our nation tears of my brain

My Tranquility

As Peace and tranquility begin to manifest,
the ways of the tide slowly start to plot
my next storm to bare,
Though thrown down by the vast of trials
past,
I am alive and full of the wonders of life,
I am amazed of how the pieces of the puzzle
I refer commonly to as my life start to show
a picture that I have been serching for,
Though I yet to see the picture and clarity is
far from the current of my modern day stare,
I long for the completion and the manifestation
Of a life I've dreamed of,
Though not dismaded with anticipation, decleration
of the moment still stands,
My longing for a peaceful desired shore has not
compromised my love and enjoyment of the sailing
on a complexing journey, the love, trials, falls, rises
and story
All Make what I have found to be
My Peace and Tranquility

Me

I am what I am no different am I
then the birds above that hover the sky
in truth I am that which I am
and nothing more could I be
no more then a tear drop that falls from an eye
no more then the silent cries of a ghost at night
I am what i am no more no less

Strenght of Love

Mom
I’ve grown in to the man
That I am because you cared about
The person I am
You taught me to fear the lord
And bond with my brother and sister
On one accord
Your daughter talked of your strength of love
And it is given from god above
Less we not forget what great things you done
For you are the one to hum I run
All that you mean to me you will never know
Your love I carry with me where ever I go
Your strength and love are returned to you
For I do love you so

You Will Never Know

The sun did shine for all the time
you were here with me
though I dare not hold you accountable
for wanting to be free in your hands you did hold me
but what you never could understand
was I could’t be the me I was in your dreams
for I am just a man
no more no less than that I am
what more could I ever be
for I took my falls and stood it all
now here I stand in grief
so take what ever word you will
I have nothing left to say
but I will carry my sorrow in my heart
for the rest of all my days
but I want you to know I love you so
and I’m with you where ever you go
and yes this poem is about you
but you will never know

Love of Mine

The way I feel when I'm with you
can't be matched by a single soul,
Who else in this world would I run to when my
days and nights grow cold
all I really want to say to you
is that you make me smile
like no other can
Proud I am today to say that
I am your man
As the sands of time would have it
As it is designed by God's divine
dare no one to take away my joy
The sweetest LOVE OF MINE

Good-Bye

The sun in the sky can only last as long as you stay,
So since you've been gone all my sunny days are oh so far away,
And every day that comes with you as a memory,
Reminds me of a better place and time that love did capture me,
As love's prisoner I felt no shame to be caught up in your arms,
The feeling I get when you hold me close caused me no alarm,
But now the end has ran its course and time has brung end to the trial,
And left me alone in a pool of tears that stretches for miles,
Indeed I hope your life is better since the day you parted me,
For there is no since in such a wretched wish damning both of us to misery,
In this tell I leave behind to shadow with no trace,
The sad day that came to past that I would no longer see your face,
In time though I know for sure my grievance will wither down,
But the burden that hangs in my heart right now exceeds the weight of a thousand pounds,
So I shall drain what little I can to spare my heart some room,
And sing today my saddest song that awfully sad tune

1-20-09

Oh take good words
Oh hear me now
For my voice I lift in blessings of pure delight,
And the spirits of good fellowship
is the call for joy tonight,
For not a child born of woman
from this day forth
Will ever know of limitations,
For the views of few can not undo
What happened on this occasion,
Let us not as we have
look for past injustice to waver in tone,
For in truth I do say to you
you can’t undo what’s set in stone,
For such as the greatest of the potter’s wheel
without the fire could never be,
The synonym applies without once being slaves
our victory would be incomplete,
Never the less let us not permit
that we rejoice in the former way one man treated another,
For it be not designed by the divine
that the son of man be better than his bother,
For all are equally shortened from his glory
and by his hands it was undone,
For it was in his will when he spoke the words “In the beginning”
that we shall over come,
And though this be not our final battle
a mere speck of the final victory,
We celebrate this mild stone of a long coming
that many fought to see,
For by many’s blood, sweat, and tears
did this come to be,
So for ever more we will cherish this day
as the day the world was free

Gold Rain

If tears were gold I'd be the richest person in the world,
And you'd be the great provider of my riches,
You would be my pearl,
You would be my oasis,
A light in the mist of a dark night,
To shine the night like the day and the day shine on til night,
In no rush to catch you in no hurry would i BE IF ONLY IF ONLY.
I can understand you when no one else can see,
You are who you are and that's who you are to me,
Not one sound out of difference do i EXPECT,
For hearts do what heart do best and love til they forget,
Shilvery is dead they say then so must I be,
For the day that shilvery truly does die I will to dead be,
I don't want to say much else but that no amount of gold could hold me for you I'd cry a
million tear IF ONLY IF ONLY
