I Robbed God

I was once a thief, never done for Stealing guns,
or knives. Money, laundering offences, or Somebody’s wife. 
I robbed God of tithes that I must pay; I was alive but a dead man 
Walking, not at my fullest potential in anyway.

Oh yes! I had God’s blessings and favour alright,
But limited to what I could have done without effort
Or fight.  I withheld what’s not mine, for a period of time,
Now I got the revelation (Mal 3:8-10) that it’s really not fine.

If you leave a comment it’s entirely up to you, free speech 
Make all your opinions known. But that’s under the law 
It has no trace, and I say if that was the law what should 
I be doing by grace.

I’ve made up my mind to do things God’s way, due respect 
To the opinions you’ve given today.  That won’t change a thing
God’s ways are best. I’ll go with my inner prompting and block
Out negative reasoning and the rest.

 I’ll give the first fruit not as a law but by faith, and watch the 
Windows of heaven open before it’s too late. God promise
To disperse the financial curse, and restore what the devil stole.
When I obey biblical principles, I’ll sure receive a hundred fold.

First fruits offered by Abel a more excellent sacrifice than Cain. 
The same applies to me whilst done in Jesus name; God’s intentions 
Are pure laid out that I would gain? His principle of the kingdom 
Are here to stay, I’ll embrace the fact and do it anyway.

A Hero Lies In You

There's a hero and that is you,
A hero lies in you.
It's a fact and you know it's true,
A hero lies in you.
Heroes and heroines fought, and won the race,
A hero lies in you
Deep down in your heart a hero takes its place,
A hero lies in you. 

You can survive, be strong, be determine,
A hero lies in you
The road is long, and you will win,
A hero lies in you.
Hope subside, no hands outstretched,
A hero lies in you.
It won't be long now a bright light shines ahead
A hero lies in you. 

Hold on dreams are hard to follow
A hero lies in you.
Don't let anyone detour, or take them away,
A hero lies in you. 
Hold on joy will come in the morning
Because that hero lies in you.

Snap Out of It.

Life can be tough at times
Depression and discouragement
Can set in. The cares of this world 
And negative thoughts, can overwhelm
You with heaviness, you have a choice to
Think positive thoughts.

David in the Bible encounters difficulties too,
I’m afraid no exemption for me and you. 
When depression, and discouragement, takes
A hold. Say like David: Why are you cast 
Down oh my soul? 

Snap out of it; shake off that spirit that comes
To kill, steal, and destroy? Endeavour to put your 
Trust fully in the Lord. When you praise him he’ll
Give you the strength to overcome. Every trials you
May face, and every victory won.

Hope

I am blessed and thankful for hope,
Hope that makes me not ashamed.
Hope for today, and hope for tomorrow,
Hope when all around me is drenched in sorrow.

There’ll be no night, there’ll be no morning
Without hope in my heart I know, you’re the 
Heartbeat of all I do.  You’re the wind beneath my
Wings. I can’t live a day without you.

I can live without many things and life still 
Can go on. But to face tomorrow without hope
In my heart, life would be miserable from finish
To start, I can’t live a day without the Lord.

Happy Mothers Day

Today is precious, and you’re so special predestined from 
The foundation of the earth. Wise men with their wisdom 
Designated to say, happy mother’s day to all the fine women 
Of worth.

Good mothers are those who care and understand
And you are among the few. Lay your hair down
Hold your head up high, enjoy today brand new. 

You’re so very special, and great at what you do,
You have trained me well, the right path I should take
Without your love and care my life could be at stake.  

I truly honor, and respect my mother every day,
From January to December, and back around again. 
So mother’s day for me is every day because she’s my 
Dearest friend.

Temptation

T - esting time will always come
E - very time all day how long
M - ake no excuse cast it down
P -  ut God first, and he'll always be around.

T - ake sometime to check your thoughts,
A -  ct on the onset straight away,
T -   hink on the things that are lovely, and pure
I  -   n the meantime
O  -  ffer sacrifices of praise
N  -  ow that you've overcome.

Temptations will come, and temptations will go,
The devil will attack for a season.
resist him on the onset, and he will flea
Temptations are for a reason.

Meekness Is Not Weakness

Meekness is not weakness its strength under control,
Don’t think of me as weak, shy, reserved, or timid.
I’m a child of the king the half has not yet been told.
No! You can’t walk all over me and treat me like a door mat,
I’m not trying to straighten out the world and that settles that. 

I refuse to respond to every critic and I won’t let it bother me,
I may have the power to do something about it, but my time
Is too valuable you see: I’ll keep my focus and stand tall doing 
What I’m called to do. My strength and power is in God’s control 
Meekness is not weakness, blessed are the chosen few.

If It's To Be, It's Up To Me

If it’s to be, it’s up to me, determination fuel with faith
A strong desire. Not just the thoughts of good intentions alone,
Put actions in place, and follow through to the end.

Think not of the impossible until you’ve tried,
What’s the worst that can happen anyway?
When you’re trust is in God, and situations in disarray.
In ordinary circumstances one would have quit and call it a day. 

Nothing comes easy; life isn’t a bed of roses, the truth everyone should hear
I believe in miracles, and dreams can come true. Not only a matter of the heart
But a strong desire to achieve, and be committed to the end.

If it’s to be it’s up to me SMART is a good place to start.

Smart is the word a road map our guide, a good place to begin
But we all must do our part.

It's the Climb

It’s the climb that makes the difference
Though the journey’s yet far to go,
A beam of light shines through the tunnel
Freedom cry, that’s all there is to know.

I can almost see it, and my heart pounds,
And skip a beat. Drown the voices negative
Echo, fast and long brush through your mind.
Hurdle after hurdle, leaves all your troubles behind 

This isn’t about how fast I’ll get there
Neither about what awaits me then,
It’s the climb, and my perseverance to the end 

One mountain after another, rivers deep
And valley’s wide. It’s the climb the 
Final outcome, when the journey is complete.

It’s the climb not the finish, it’s the joy
Of reaching to the end. Having overcome
Life’s obstacles, the climb ‘twill be worth 
It all my friend.

No Pain No Gain

No pain no gain in the natural,
No pain unfortunately that’s the way,
Working on biceps, and other muscles,
For physical results. No exempt from life’s 
 Problem without a doubt. 

Who needs pain to gain in any case?
Nothing good comes easy we know.
It’s part of life and we cannot change,
Adam and Eve in labor set the stage. 

No pain no gain no end result to boast,
Pain so painful, still attracts a toast,
Enjoy the success, and freedom it brings
Not anything specific, but almost anything.
