Maricris Balbuena Poem
Crossing the border line
Your eyes met mine
Hidden with fear yet elated
And there sparks of light spread
Meeting you for a split second
Made me wish for a lasting bond
But in this vast ocean
There's you with another man
Longing for that somber gaze
Tickle heart's fire to blaze
Beyond this sweet sensation
Lies great trepidation
Bold, I don't want to flee
Drawn, I just want to see
If time being with me
Is a blissful day or a melancholy
Either cheering for our score untold
Or grieving for our picture unfold
Let me walk you along forbidden line
And share this dream of mine
I had this lovely dream
A gem of light that beam
An aisle of flowers in each side
Holding you the most beautiful bride
This may the wonderful gift from above
Loving you freely like a dove
Everything's here in the road of love
But only you I couldn't have

Maricris Balbuena Poem
I thought it's nothing
Just tears of some lonely nights
Spent thinking of you
Then there is "What if"
What if I said 'YES' to you
Will I have regrets?
What if I'm not here
In this place full of limits
Will I feel the same?
What if I chose you
Fought for you without any fear
Will this pain vanish?
I thought it's nothing
I presumed this feeling cease
But it never did.
