Old Wounds

I know village where blessings is their curse
From their mountain of gold they mine penury
Right in the village square is fountain of thirst
where Fathers won't stop narrating to child
The old tales of enmity as it was fed to him
by his own father and the Father before him
Horror stories of perhaps one sided reality
Narrated in the moonlight tales and sang
as lullaby to the young, not to be forgotten
Making it a taboo for the Old wound to heal
May the God mute their pitiable requiems
And stop retailing and retelling the old tales
Of war and how their fathers feet peeled
On the battle field fighting a needless battle
War that went on so long that the reasons
Got lost and forgotten in the skirmishes
Animosity traded like coins and cowries
Dark rage like we could blot out the sun
From shining tomorrow and the sun flower
blooming with it, not hiding any detail of its
Beauty from the eyes of the world to see
Before the town crier dock the ship of tongue
Whilst Sailing the waterways of his saliva
Let him pass the royal message of Peace
Striking the gong with vigour, leaving the sound to the echoes of the Village canyon
For the villagers to hearken the royal decree
To save the soul of the village and its soil
To let the young ones love, let old wounds heal

Death of Many Voyagers

In this your steep water of love
There is a graveyard of ships
Wherein Many men before me,
Who heedlessly have seafared
On this perilous journey of love
What joy have they ever gotten
But destitution, chaos and hurt
They have only left their homes
With foolish hopes of making
Their way Into a maiden's heart,
But in the end they were drowned
Deep into your tempestuous tides
As they docked their cursed ships
In bottomless depth of the Ocean
Of their strayed desires, perhaps Lust.
But they have been afflicted by love
They couldn't even learn from fates
Of loss that befell those that dared
To love you, their worst nightmare
Even sun drowned in your horizon
Your fine essence is the sweetness,
Poison many have succumbed to
Your tempting eyes is the daunting
Ocean,the Death of many voyagers

Dark Days of Yore

Dark Days of Yore

Knew No day should be evil
Only people dwelling therein
In its steep lights are casting
Dark spell and curses upon it

The warlock is out loose in wild
Bringing back the dark old days
More than evil we've once known
Lurking in the faraway woods

Cursed land of the abhorred
Left to the mutant creatures
Known only to our doomed
And untamed Imaginations

The evil wizard has escaped
He broke the old tired chains
Heading into the cursed woods
To cast his carnage upon us

Nocturnal serpent is coming
Creeping up and slithering
Beware of its kiss of death
Sending you to great beyond

Conscript us back into the past
Calamity is turning back the clock
Like the world is aging in reverse
Malevolence of dark days of yore
