Best Friends

Best Friends

Someone to laugh with, perhaps to shed some tears.
A persone who's been with you all through the years.
Someone to shelter you from days that are cold.
A shoulder to lean on, a warm hand to hold.
An arm to catch you if you slip and fall,
and an ear for your problems whenever you call.
Someone to share your giggles and your screams.
A persone to tell all your secrets and dreams.
Someone to hug when you're happy or sad,
to just be there in the good times and bad.
A person with whom you don't have to pretend.
These are the jobs of a very best friend.

Alone

Alone in the storm she wept
The trees around her swayed
As The frost in her soul crept
Closer until at last she was stayed

The rain drenching her heart
Till her last breath did she take
Only to cry out with a start
That God would not forsake

If only He would save
Her life again she would not take
A cold clean cut never again to crave
To him she could at last give her heartache

Out of the shadows a man did appear
To pick her up and dry all her tears
Shocked to see his eyes so sincere
She stood in embarrassment as he washed away the smears

Away from the pain of life you can walk
on one condition you must do
And it's a lot to see you'll be in shock
My death you must watch me go through

Upon a tree cut for shame
The punishment of all man kind
Will be the only blame
Please accept this with open mind

For my love for you is ever true
If you accept this I'll pay your debt
You'll see me rise and that's your cue
New life I've given you after this reset

Dreams

Inside of us there lives a light, burning like fire in the night.
Gleaming down and lighting the way, for hopes and dreams to shine someday.
It gives a brilliance to our lives and sparkels like diamonds with a glowing light for all to see.

What is love?
To hit or hurt a friend?
What is love
To ignore the truth and that funny felling of guilt inside
what is love does it make you want to run and hide.what is love does it make you hate a friend for the way the are.
What is love?
can you really know the truth?
love is
a simple act of kindness or even a smile to someone when you walk by.
love is
the unknown-the one who created everything with a gentle hand and a mighty voice.
love is
the feeling you get when news of a lost one gets to you.
love is the feeling of someone you cant live without.
love can be
a note left by someone that cares or a blush when you catch their stare.
love can be
a simple helping hand or a word or phrase like "you look beautiful tonight."
love can come
in many in ways like a little fury friend,orsomething like a butterfly flying by.
love can be
a song that toucheed your heart or a poem that is stuck in your mind.
love can be
a glance at someone sleeping by your side and the feeling you get when you catch yourself looking by and by.
love is
a mystery to slove,or something to help solve your problems.
love is
a shoulder to lean or cry on, or a hug that makes your day.
love is a
feeling of happiness or compasion in any way shape or form.

Inside

Bottled up inside
Are the words i never said, The feelings that I hide,
The lines you never read.
You can see it in my eyes, Read it on my face 
trapped inside are lies of the past I can't replace.
With memories that linger, won't seem to go away.
Why can't i be happier?
Today's a brand new day.
Yesterdays are over, even though the hurting is not.
Nothing lasts forever, I must cherish what I've got.
Don't take my love for granted, for soon it will be gone-
of the love you thought you'd won.
The hurt I'm feeling now won't disappear pear overnight,
But someway somehow, everything will turn out all right,
No more wishing for the past, it wasn't meant to be.
It didn't seem to last, so I have to set him free.

Changes

In a world filled with changes each and every day
I feel like I'm judged for what I do and say
I remember back to barbies and play days in the park
When i didn’t worry about other peoples remarks.
But looking in the mirror I see to my surprise,
A completely different person staring deep into my eyes.
The care free little child I saw at four and five,
Has now become a preteen learning to survive.

I wake up thinking I'm next to you
Reaching to where you might be
I feel nothing but cold bed sheets
I hug my pillow and wear your things
I dry my tears and face my fears
I can be without you even though I don't want to
Your my song by day my dreams at night I never know if your real or just a figment of my wildest imagination
The tempest in your eyes

A family's more special than diamonds or jewels, and money or treasures galore.
Its power, warmth, and comfort is something that's not sold in store.
You share love with your family, because they are the people that care.
And every day, from morning to night, your family will always be there.

Gone

I cannot hear your laughter,I cannot see your smile.
I wish that we could talk again if only for awhile.
I know your watching over me, seeing everything I do.
And though you'll always be with me, I will always be missing you.
You taught me that life is much to short, and at any time could end.
But know that no matter where you are you will always be my friend.
And when it's time for me to go you'll be there to show me the way.
I wish that you could still be here, but I'll see you again someday.
