Paseo

Do I have what it takes to put this straight?
I know deep inside I don’t want to fake
It’s time for me to take back my life
With you holding so tight I can’t survive

Did controlling me make you feel strong?
Made me numb for way too long
You need to be a man and let me go
Can’t pull me down just because your spirit is low

Tell me did breaking me make whole?
I hope you got something out of stealing my soul
Held my heart in your hand only to destroy
Telling me how to behave like I was a toy

But your twisted fairytale is coming to an end
Welcome to my reality where lies don’t easily mend
Your punishment won’t succeed when your power is gone
You might have scarred me but the battle you never won

Now I walk on a set path where I reign
Have no time for you and your pathetic game
Find someone else to shift around in your fantasies
My life your will never again have to seize

Voilent Ink

Ink flowing from my pen
Like bullets from army men
Pounding of machine guns whizzing all around you
This pen of mine is violent it can kill emotions too

I write these scars to make them see
How painful their words can be
Open your eyes fools for now it’s your turn
The bullet effect you must now learn...

Turn Away

You look at me like I’m some kind of disease
It’s funny to me how you judge at such ease
I wonder when you will see your fate
Your pathetic words won’t help when it’s too late

Look into your mirrored eye of mistakes
It is crawling with a crowd of fakes
Soon you will drown in your own pool
Your mind will play you like a fool

When you finally realise the truth of life
Don’t dare look at me to take out the knife
I’ll watch your bleeding back as you lay
Repaying the favour as I turn away...

Living In a Illusion

During day she wears her mask
She plays along in the illusion
Smiling, she ignores the pain
She breathes, but knows she is dead

She wishes she could be invisible
Then she would at least have a reason for going
unseen…
What else can she do but act out her scene?

But she has a dark secret
When night falls and all are sleeping
She breaks down and falls apart
For deep down she knows she is lost

Screaming for someone to sustain her
But she knows she is trapped in a heartless world
Unable to fix what is broken
She cries herself to sleep, it’s her lullaby

With each day that passes
She falls deeper into the lies
But the truth is…
Slowly, she is slipping away
