I Belong To You

I thought that I could run away from You,
Separate myself from You,
Hide where You can't find me or read a single thought I think.
But I failed, because You always slip into my memory,
Every now and then.

As much as I try, I cannot forget You.
You are too persistent to be remembered,
In people I meet, in places I go.
It's hard to ignore that You are everywhere.

I realized even for a minute, nothing would take me
Away from You.
For You will always be lingering, waiting,
For me to come around and accept that You are mine,
That You are inside of me,
That I am a part of You and You, a part of me.
That we are bound forever.

Because You have left a great part of You in my heart,
And that is Your voice
That whispers ' I love You' and 'Come home',
In the darkest rainy nights of my existence.
Nourishing my weakening soul,
A warm blanket for my cold and unfeeling heart,
A comforting light that illuminates my gray world.

And I need all of it.
I can't pretend anymore that I could be on my own.
I have known how it was to smile with You,
When bright summer days shine upon my life
And You were there telling me,
'I love You' and 'I'm happy to be with you.'

And I miss You, being with You,
Everything about You.
Your generosity, kindness and warmth,
Your light.
The joy that You bring, the hope that You give,
And most of all, I miss the love that You let me experience.

It makes a big difference when I don't acknowledge
How much You care for me,
And how much You wanted me to believe that You really love me.
And will always love me,
In spite of me? Yes.

If I only stop fighting how much I also feel for You.
Because once upon a summer time,
My soul was filled with so much joy and certainty
To say these out loud:
'I also love You very much',
'We will always be together, forever...'

I remember them now more clearly.
I belong to You.
And I am happiest when I am with You.

So now there will never be any hesitations,
I am coming back to You, dearest Father,
Never again will I allow myself
To doubt who You are to me, and I, to You.
I commit myself to loving You,
And honoring You, my Lord,
Now and forever, and for all eternity.

To a Mysterious Man

You whisper sweet 'I love you’ to the virgin's ears.
While breathlessly saying her name,
You caress your lover's face that bespoke innocence.
You comb her long black hair with your hands,
And stare at the shining beauty that is in front of you,

Her eyes that sparkle at the sight of you.
Her luscious lips that challenge your resistance.
Only you know the depth of her mysteries,
Only you will be allowed to explore
The delicate sweetness that she is.

You know her, inside out.
You would simply be too happy
To oblige yourself to give her all,
To give her everything you want her to have,
And to feel.
Everything she deserves, with all your best.

Her sweet shyness doesn't fail to arouse
The boldness in you.
Her subtle ways of making you know
She wants to be with you,
Has always been an exaggeration
To your already weak defenses,

The mere touch of her skin to your skin,
Her smile that melts your whole being,
The look of love your soul craves for each day,

Her love you'll always cherish the rest of your lifetime.
Always you'll fight for her love.
Always you'll keep in the deepest recesses of your heart.

A life without her love is not true, and full of doubt,
You've come full circle, you have her love.

Her true and perfect love completes your existence.
But it's your love for her that fulfills her,
A union of used-to be wandering hearts,
An end and a beginning for two souls,
All because of one true, forever, unconditional and perfect love,
You and your woman, together until the end of time.

A Hero?

I wanted to run away, but I won’t.
I won’t run away from you.
Maybe I won’t fall for you,
And neither would you fall for me, too.

What is the probability of its possibility?
Does fate holds the key
That opens the door to this inevitable opportunity?
Are you just an incidental occurrence in my life,
Something that just passes by?
Or would you be a major player in my history,
Someone who stood by me ‘till eternity?

You initiated the outpouring of evidences
Of a future, sweet success.
You must have read my mind when you have spoken
Of my dreams and wishes, unknowingly.
How can you- almost a stranger,
Asked me to do something which I would have done willingly?
Did God give you to me
To bring beautiful moments to be treasured?
Or miserable times to be learned?

In my old age, will I retire each night
Asking myself these questions?
Or would you be there,
Holding my wrinkled hands, reminding me,
That my questions have been answered?

You started everything so beautifully…
I hope my naivety would not push me
To assume some more,
For everything is just a beginning…
And the path that separates now and forever
Is far and long.

Healing

Lay your weary heart.
Rest for quite a while,
And I will stand to guard you.

Feel the warmth in the abode of my love.
I'll sever the ties that chain you
To your worries.

I will stay,
When no one's to be found.

I'll see you through it all.
I will never go.
You will be secure.

Surrender to my arms,
My strength is quite enough
To carry all your burdens.

Don't have fear
For a single moment,
When I am at your side.

I'll keep you safe from harm.
My love will be your shield
Until your broken heart has mend,
And love has live in it again.

But for now,
When your wounds are still hurting,
Embrace my love.
Let it eased your suffering.
I'll be here to help you in your healing.

Purest Intentions

I am ashamed to look at You,
For I have been constantly hurting You.
I am not someone You can be proud of,
Nor am I the faithful servant You can be sure of,
For I don't have the purest heart,
The vicious cycles of sins kept You and I far apart.

But even if I am not yet the pure and simple woman
You want me to be,
The purest intentions are still inside of me.

I have the purest intention when out of the blue, I will call on You,
For I really am scared that's why to You I suddenly prayed.

I have the purest intention when I say 'I need You',
For in my heart I'm certain that
No one else can save me, but You.

I have the purest intention when I ask Your forgiveness,
For sinners like me needs so much of Your kindness.

I have the purest intention when I ask You
Not to give up on me,
For I really want You, to stay with me, and not leave me.

I have the purest intention whenever 'I say I love You'
For something deep within me
Longs so much to show You, that I really do.

My Gratitude

I have made a promise to You.
And like many of my promises, I wasn't able to keep it,
Time and again, I would fail You,
But time and again, You would believe in me.
Accepting me, as if I never hurt You, would never ever do.
With open arms, with all your heart, You would take me.

There is nothing that i would do or say, more or less
Would amount to what You have done
And would still do for me.
The kindness, the understanding and the patience,
That You, so generously give me all the time.
The Greatness of Your love is too much
Compare to my little soul.
But you're always being there for me
Simply tells me that I deserve You.

You give all of You to me
But in return I know,
I wasn't able to do the same.
Yet You, still stayed with me.
To give me the peace and quiet that I wanted,
The security and comfort that I longed for,
To always take care of me.
To listen to my weaknesses.
To believe in my dreams,
To take away the pain and the hurt in my being,
To be the Truest Friend.
These and all wonderful things
That only You could make possible.

I know in time more than just saying 'Thank You',
I would be able to really be of worth
To the Greatness of Your Love.
I would be able to keep the promises I made to You.
I would be able to stop hurting You,
And failing You.

I know that I need not tell You to stay with me
And be with me all throughout my life,
For You will be.
You have never left, and never will You.
But I would still ask you to be forever present in my life,
Through the sad and mad seasons,
For every imaginable situations.

I would like to thank You for everything that has been,
That is, and that will be.
And for all that I have become, and would still become.
Just for the simple reason that
You are in my life and that You love me.
With all my heart, thank You, Almighty God
For Your undying and unconditional Love.

Loved

I am loved by God.
I am protected by His Love, His Light,
From the chaos that I've created,
And from the chaos that created me.

I am safe.
He freed me,
From all the burdens of my heart,
From all the troubles in my mind.

I sleep peacefully
For His Light surrounds me.
When I awoke, I am happy,
For His Love fills all the void in me.

I am not afraid,
He is with me.
Inside my head He speaks of His Presence.
Inside my mind, He shouts His Prowess.

Nothing may harm me.
Nothing could shake me.
I only hear His voice,
Loud enough to silence my fears.
I only feel His Love,
Strong enough to keep me still.
