Living On

They live on inside our hearts,
They expect us to never fall apart,
Truth be told,
If i may be ever so bold,
Life begins to heal our daily pathways,
As we begin to enter a new and more challenging phase,
One realizes how precious life can be,
Choose to jump in so carefully,
They leave behind their great wisdom to share,
So embrace the emptiness with respect and great care,
They leave us legends only one can feel and understand,
They lead us on through our lives with a spiritual hand,
The make sure no harm ever comes to us,
While listening to the inner voice, that is a must.
I'm told one day we will meet up again, as i look forward to see their loving faces,
I slowly have moved on without them, in my heart never to leave them behind,
As for the future i have discovered many new places,
As i leave behind to others my wisdom and foot traces.
As i was left to carry on,
Once my time is gone.
