Broken

POEM
Title: Broken

I was wrong,
So wrong that it hurts,
So wrong that it burns,
And the reason is difficult to discern,
We mathematically solved to get love in return
But lost is what we earned.

I'm Broken inside,
Is it something to abide?
Let put it aside,
Our misunderstanding,
Our conflicts,
Our arguments,

Your fear plus my fear,
Equivalent to my tears,
While I'm sad,
Feeling bad,
Can we knit a happy end?

You love me but you push me away,
You want me but you never stay,
You always leave and do the same with the key,
And it appalls me,
Let's put a halt to this,
Because it's completely at the deadlock.

I don't know what to think anymore,
This feeling is something I abhor,
Intensionally pushing my heart below the floor,
The clock is telling me to raise my white flag,
I think it's time for myself to admit...
               I'm tired.

15 fights a night,
Broken glasses, shattered windows,
Slatted doors,
Broken locks, smashed phones,
Scattered home, different tones,
Me pretending to be ok again,
You pretending to love me again,

It's not the way we want it,
Now it's better we stop it,
I'm cracking,
I'm already broken,
I don't want those pieces of me to be broken,
Love was something strong we bestowed,
But has now turned into ashes and desert like the Amazon forest,
Just let me go on,
Before I burn too.

In Love With a Poetess

In Love With a Poetess
_____________________________________
I'm in love with a poetess/
Her words choke my feelings
Lifting me up to the ceilings
The thicker her words,
The faster my emotions move upward
She metaphorically strategize my heart
Turn my love into imagery like art
Exaggerations tearing me apart
_________________________________________
Totally disorder in my vain
Leaving me with nothing to gain
Breathing no longer take place in
The respiratory system
Rather on the tongue
My life on the edge of the rung//
__________________________________
I'm in love with a poetess/
She believes in pen and paper
My thoughts move off her head like vapor
Maybe my feelings are just wallpapers
Not meant to be taken serious
Her emotion lies in her pen
__________________________________________
She only speak in poetic devices
Tearing my heart into pieces
Her inking differ from my thinking
I think mine is shrinking
My feelings are beautifully sinking
And my love is winking
At her smiles
Using pun to play on my love//
_____________________________________________
I'm in love with a poetess/
I'm jeopardized
I'm apprised of nothing but poetry
I'm no longer interested in mathematics like geometry
It's like telling a fish to walk in the street
Her words are mightier and sharper than razors
Deeper than the oceans
And higher than the skies//.

Double Dreams

In a ceremony of love
I danced around with fairies like Alice in wonderland
Singing praises to her heart like angel from above
I kissed her voice
And collected every single breath she exhaled
I could see her flat stomach tiding up and down on the dance stage like caterpillar.

Her sharp pointed breasts applied
Newton's third law of motion to my chest
"For every force, there's an opposite reaction"
I fenced her waist with my hands
As we mingle with the music beat
As I was just about to taste her saliva,

The breeze of 5:00AM wiped my uncovered body and I woke up,
When I opened my eyes
She was the next thing I saw next to me,
I cherished her body with mine
And kissed every single part of her body like my mother's forehead,
The lipstick on her lips
Polished my hungry lips like graduation shoes.

I painted her trembling body with goosebumps,
Just in a moment to explore her world,
I was rudely greeted by an unknown rooster
I opened my eyes in a 14' by 14' isolated room
That was occupied by one living thing__ Me

My eyes visited all the corners for her
But I couldn't see her face
Now I know that it was a double dreams

Letter From the Street

We're group of jobless decision makers
Parallely arranged in sequences that lead to our leaders' happiness
We check marked their names/throw in boxes
With hunger and pains in our stomachs
Dissatisfactions and sorrows in our veins
With bitter words on our tongues.

We picked them for better changes
Because we're tired renting from corruption
Justice system is now a place of negotiation
We trusted every single word they said
But their tongues sugar-coated those words
And we madly believed.

We are dying out here
Economic growth is awaiting gemination
Our daily bread is hardly received/no matter how we tried
Strong men with strengths are crying
What about our grand mothers and fathers in the real areas
There is no job/no freedom/nowhere to go/here is now like hell.

Weeping Messenger

Face crack
Hands keep stave
And image turn horror
 Now separated from earth
Weeping around
Far away you are carried
By the ungrateful
And deceitful death
No breath, no voice nor feeling
In the lake of tears I watch the scene
Hope your soul be in the right hand
And your memory book keeps my name
Though you left me in this ungrateful and painful world,
          But
          Please
         Tell
         The
          Lord
          About
         The
         Struggles
         On
         Earth.
It is no longer the earth he created
And tell Jesus we await his return
Because earth is turning into hell.

I call my weeping messenger.

Littlest Wishes

She said...

"write your rhymes in my heart
& amplify the rhythm of its pulse
let my breasts be the covers for your hiding art

          curve your words
into every pore in my skin
         gloomy not glamour

blank
white
colorless

          love me
         Hurt me
         & paint me

i am a piece of paper
fold me &
 divide me into stanzas
let my lips be the lines in each stanza

          write me down
         & cut me into syllables
         let me bleed
         with the love i swallowed

hurt me again & again
burn me with your words
i am the ashes in your thoughts
the wreckage
the Phoenix rising."

Minutes Before

& deep between the hair strings of the night
my eyes felt the touch of light
Like daylight, it was bright
Flying to alight

from beneath the colorless stairs above the balcony i grabbed sight
far above the clouds-i counted height
with angels to catch flight

i redirected my feet upright
and crossed fingers around Hope tight
Submitting punches to win fight
and it was the night i obtained site.

Midnight Monologue

"i will live"
even if it's for a jiffy at this moment,
let my breath be the testimony of what i feel
& the sound of the drum my heart holds
will keep its rhythm below the canopy of the forest
let the hunter aim no perfect shot at the eagle that soars

i will live,
to harvest the trees i have planted with blue & black in the white field
to seduce the pain that awaits me in bed
i can't tell how many times my peace of mind has been accompanied by sorrow
but at this stage, i will live
because if the tea on the dinning table gets cold
my brother won't be able to tell the taste of the sugar in it

i will live,
if it's in pain, someday happiness will creep
if it's in mental illnesses, one day a therapist will creep
if it's in my mind, one day i will write the story
if it's in the outfits, one day God will redress me
but for now, i will live

This Is My Body

__This is my body

Like the last supper, I offer it to Judas Iscariot
who smiles in the midst of everyone

I am the texture of each word your eyes grab in this poem,
Lynching on the branch of broken promises,
My body is the structure of this poem,
This poem is the shape of my body
Sometimes I forget to feel until the wind encompasses

                                        This is my body
It holds
footage of love that passed by to its destination in opened car
The pen that needs fire before inking
Sometimes I am the finger behind the trigger that smashes the object in my chest

I find myself counting God's art on earth like grains of sand on seashore

on the other hand,
I break knees with empty hands
and say "Hallowed be thy name"
Repeating "Give us our daily bread" endlessly to maintain breaths for tomorrow

                                     This is me
          Sometimes I smile without breathing
And breathe for days without noticing
At the bottom of my suitcase, I hide the truth from myself
to let the wind moves through my lungs

This is my body--built with gallantry,
The hairs on my skin are the tails of pains I've swallowed
This is my body just like my country and us
Every moment I deceive my heart
as it seeks justice like the unheard voices of innocent souls

I'm afraid to draw my heart into words
Because it will swallow each word
For its surface holds scars that are fighting to heal

And my body is turning into island
somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic ocean

My Mother Is Nature

The fountain of God's love

Her thighs are the roots of cotton tree
And the ground on which my feet first tasted

Her hands are the gravity that held me
when I thought I could fly without wings
Her fingers still taste like raindrops on my heated body

The circulated winds from her nostrils
beathe life

in her smiles-- I see twinkling stars
beautiful flowers from the top of Everest

in her veins-- I see oceans upon oceans
oceans that tide with the peaceful hands of wave
Her face holds the brightness of the sun
as it escorts itself every morning

In her eyes-- I see winging butterflies being chased by Blue Jay
and tiger happily racing with antelope
As the branches of her eyelashes stand tall above

Her chest holds waterfall canals
That flow down from mountains built in heaven

In the heart of nature--I see jewelries
Gold, diamonds that smile with love

She is as green as Amazon forest
The sky shows her eyes
And her body is Sahara
Nature lives in her
