More Precious Than Gold.

I’ve always wanted to do the right thing,
I love to do things like write, and sing;
But when I think of all those in need,
I want to go out and do the good deed.

Jesus told me to be a shining light,
To go out and show the people what’s right.
It burns in me to do Gods perfect will,
And his perfect will with his help I’ll fulfill.

I will preach Jesus Christ to the lost,
And tell them how he paid the cost;
For all their sins, and all of mine,
And I’ll tell them of his love divine.

In Jesus happiness you will find,
He’ll erase your past from your heart and mind;
When we stumble He’ll hold our hand,
When we fall He’ll help us stand.

I want to share the truth with all,
With young and old, big and small,
A life like that will never get old,
A friend like that’s more precious than Gold.

Life Is Like a River.

Life is like a River,
It sometimes makes you shiver.
Life keeps its steady pace,
Even through the trials we face.

Life can make you smile,
When you don’t know what to do.
It gives you a chance to rest awhile,
And allows you to be you.

Life can make you happy,
Life can make you sad,
Life can make you cranky,
Yes, life can make you mad.

But we must remember,
That where and whenever,
We have the choice to make,
Our own lives a keepsake.

We must keep in mind,
The great examples from behind
And work hard at living true,
As Jesus Christ would have us do.

Amazing Love

No love more precious, no love more dear
Than the love Jesus showed when he was here
He gave joy to others; we’d call that cheering
He took care of others; we’d call the caring
He wouldn’t tell lies, or try to deceive
He would tell the truth, and hope we’d believe
Wherever He was someone was there
Yet he was not handsome, but kind and fair

Jesus Christ was sent from God above
To share with the world God’s amazing love
He came to let the whole earth know
To accept Him was assurance of a place to go
Where there will be no hurt or hate
And where joy, and happiness abound great
For the sins of the world to the cross he was led
So that means for us his blood was shed

So let us to Jesus go and pray
And ask that He wipe our sins away
So that one-day we may dwell above
And be surrounded by His amazing love.
