Un Beso.

UN BESO.

! Que extraña sensación ¡
Todo es diferente,
El piso, el techo, el aire, tu mente,
Memorias vuelan, te confunden,
No sabes si vives, no sabes si mueres,
Te desesperas, buscas razones,
Que invaden tu ser,
Te estremeces, tratas de olvidar,
Miras al cielo, imploras,
Quieres estar solo,
Miras a las alturas,
Esperando ayuda.,
Solitario, recorres tu vida,
Vives el pasado,
Muriendo en el presente,
Solitario, terror sientes,
Ya no te mira,
Parece que sueña,
Su amor es tan grande,
Que tú sufrir,
No quiere ver,
Acaricias su cara,
Le das un beso,
Esperando que Dios,
Oiga tus rezos,
Llegando casi al Cielo,
Desde entre dos Mundos,
Sus ojos abiertos brillaron,
Y sus labios,
Dibujaron un beso.

Eternal Kiss.

ETERNAL KISS.

! What a strange sensation!
Everything is different,
The floor the ceiling, the air, your mind,
Memories flying, confusing you,
You don’t know if you are alive, you don’t know if you are dying,
You’re desperate, looking for reasons,
Invading your being,
You tremble as you try to forget,
Look at the sky, pray,
I want to be alone,
Look to heaven high,
Waiting for help,
Reminiscing on past memories,
Living in the past,
Dying at the present,
Alone, feeling terror,
She doesn’t look at you,
Appear as she is dreaming,
Her love is so great,
That your suffering,
Don’t want to see,
Cherishing her face,
I give her a kiss,
Waiting that God,
Listens to our prayers,
Getting almost to heaven,
From between two world,
Her sparkling eyes open,
Sketching her lips,
An eternal kiss.

My Dog Siboney ...Revised

Siboney, my inseparable companion,
He was the joy of my life,
I was a small child when I stumbled upon him,
He followed me wherever I went,
He was true company,
Running jumping over the fields,
It was great to have him in my life,
My friend and I shared special moments,
Secrets he kept to protect me, he was a loyal confidant,
We fished and pretended to go hunting,
He would always come over,
This time he did not show up,
A full day went by with no Siboney,
I set out to find him, in the usual favorite place,
It was by our favorite stream where we always went fishing,
I looked every where for my special companion,
My heart was heavy and my eyes were wet,
To my sad surprise,
I found my companion dead,
Devastation is all that I felt,
Immortalized in my heart,
I will carry the memories of my dog Siboney for life

These are true thoughts it happened to my father
Rene. My father wrote the original poem and I
added to it and revised it. It was Rene Torres
who wrote most of it and inspired me. Oct/5/2008.

My Dog Siboney

MY DOG SIBONEY.
Siboney, my inseparable companion,
the joy of my life,
always alert and complacent,
the flow of the stream,
Enjoyed in his company.
Running, jumping over the fields,
in my three years felt,
the greatness of life,
shared with my dog,
one who I loved so much. Being my loyal confidant,
keeping my secrets,
from fishing and hunting,
Being the only witness,
and extreme my defense,
showing his white teeth.
Just a day suspected,
I had left,
we looked everywhere,
without power, I find,
having to go along,
to check whether there were fish.
Hearing some voices,
bypassing my presence
among bushy weeds,
I found my beloved dog,
with their eyes wide open,
There, hanging from a tree.
My pain was so great,
Imagine their suffering,
likely would think,
that his faithful companion,
soon, recuperate it,
being immortalized in my heart,
the memories of my dog,
for life with love.
