The Elimination Method

Simple Mathematics, really.
To eliminate one component
To solve a problem quickly.

I’ll form the problem into a manageable state,
By easily eliminating an unwanted variable.
Now, just what variable to eliminate?

First, I will multiply the X by two.
That’s the first step. Done, I feel fine.
I will multiply the Y too.

Now, I add my X plus X.
My Y plus Y.
That was to make sure it checks.

Now here’s the predicament (easy my shoe!)
This is my problem,
And a real head-scratcher too!

The equation adds up nicely
And the X and Y are simplified.
But, how do I eliminate my algebra homework
Precisely?

What Kind of Man?

Beware the Boob Man
For he’s shallow…and a little juvenile

The Leg Man is sensual
And can’t hold a conversation
But…
The Butt Guy
Just wants sex
Correction: Just wants some ass

Watch out for the Foot Dude
Cuz that’s…
…
…well that’s just weird.
No one likes toe grime

The Vagina Man is smart
Intelligent even
Knows his facts
But tends to forget the big picture
Make sure he doesn’t forget
The rest

The Neck Guy is great in bed
Although
He maybe in bed
With more than just you

The Eye Man is lovely
Simple, tactful, and sincere
He loves walks on the beach
And romantic dinners too
But this man…
He sees perfection
But doesn’t forgive
He may never notice your ass sag
But what happens
When you need glasses?

The Back Man
Is artistic
In his attraction
He can see the sexuality, the sensuality, the spirituality
And the mingling of the three
While he finger-steps over your back
He’ll hold your hand
Making love
And kiss your chin

The strength of a back
The smooth lines
The soft touch
The Back Man knows
It doesn’t receive much
Consideration
It’s a place where
The entire body convenes
To convulse
To contort
To contribute
To control
To lose control
Where it holds no absolute confidence
Where it holds all conviction

Real Life Hero

Doom
Resounds in his head.
Until today he
Gave up everything.

And today he
Dug his heals into the
Dirt. He gave it all to give
In. Tomorrow will be worse than what
Claims him
Today.

Untitled...For Now

‘my eyes
with a film over them
clouding them with
iridescent shapes of
you’

I'm reading this again...
probably not the best thing
for me to read at this moment.

sending off...hmm?
do you still feel the same?

a ramble of unpoetic lines
shoved together haphazardly

if the power of words can kill
then
I’m butchering a pig—
—blood as virtual ink!

…pathetic
not poetic…

comparing my ‘poetry’
to yours
my UNpoetry

yet,
you say—
—you claim to love it

sending off—

—do you still feel the same?

‘my eyes’
-coming ‘round full circle-
‘with a film over them’
—just incase—
you’ve forgotten

[my eyes
with a film over them
clouding them with
iridescent shapes of
you]

‘clouding them with’
-repeated-
‘iridescent shapes of’
—not quite—
‘you’

sending off—

—do you still feel the same?

do you
still
feel the same?

Don'T Blink

Imagine my
Real view
Inside of you.
Stop and see too.

Someday Baby

Forever and
Ever it seems
You lie
Inside me.
Holding my
Heart. Curled
Into a tiny
Cocoon,
Where you wait
To discover
Light.

Oxymoron

Nine dozens of
Eight nothings
Veranda romance inside
Every man for no man
Running in place
Dearest husband
Or dearest wife
Urban legend
Brutal love
Truthful
Tall tales
Hidden hate
Introverted
Sex orgy
Three in a couple
Riot in the bathroom
Universal thought
Timeless fashion
Helpless god

X-Factor

Silly humans!
Everything you think of involves the
X-factor.

Hanging Onto the Stars

Emeralds fall from your tears.
Various decisions I face.
Eternal wonder I will
Relive any choice
You make
Tonight under these stars.
Intensely I watch you,
Mirrored I am in your
Eyes. My faceless expression
Intricately
Locked in your gaze.
Only tonight matters.
Only your next sentence can
Keep me safe.
Inside I cry but
Not outwardly.
Your decision, not mine.
Object I will not.
Urgently though, I pray.
Remember my
Eyes and see me whole.
Youthful and always
Embracing you tender. Look at my lost
Strength. Carefully
Immersed in this
Stone face. Can’t you see my
Endurance? I hold on to this
Everlastingly. I apologize.
State your opinion,
Truthfully now. Just
Always see, feel, taste, and
Remember the
Stars we watched long ago.

One Peak Moment

Right now
I’m not blaming you…

Pretend I have not had the
Privilege of hearing those
Lines before. Tell me.

Eternal glare on my
Sunglasses, which I wear at night.
Only an annoyance…
Never to be worried about.

When with you, I feel like
An ice pick could go
Through my
Ear and into my brain, and I’d experience a similar
Reaction. I’d like to

Go drink cheap wine and
Lay in the back of my truck, on an old mattress.

And sing—
Sing anything—as long as it’s
Santana…or soft Slipknot…
