Time

That day I wake up with more questions
Which can’t answer by anyone
I was looking very confused, even I tried to hide my feelings
Over information is also a problem now
Where will I go and hide from these
Who is telling truth and who is telling lies?
I am as confused as a baby in the topless bar

Now whatsapp tells me every day what do and what not
And facebook shares its own version of stories
I tried to relax with my spouse, but he is busy with his PUBG now
Kids are calling always mamma mamma
Did they forget the word dadda dadda?
Where will this miserable life leads me now?
Am I still talking to my pillow?

Trying to keep my babies busy with some fun games
And trying to finish my jobs without fail
Breaks are now inside walls and seeing scenery from balcony
Kids are yelling to go out and play in open
Will this stage last for long?

Am I looking so tired? My mirror also stopped giving me answers now.
When I can meet parents and friends?
When I can sit next to them and laugh out for their jokes?
A lot of questions which don’t have answers now.
But I know time will answer those one day.

Lovesick

Feelings of heart, emotions of eyes.
Wanderings of mind, expectations of ears.
Days are passing, but love is waiting…
Ears are waiting, to hear some soothing…

Distance increased; affection decreased.
Existence questioned; imagination erased.
Are you there? Hearts corner felt empty.
Where you went? Eyes are dry and wifty.

Music gave peace and happiness once.
Attic of mind filled with romance those days.
Dreams were full of love and warmth!
Hugs and cuddles made life complete…

Wondering how long I must wait!
Assuming this wait will be short.
Restore the life with passion and love…
Before the mind go crazy and mismove…

Corona Days

Sanonee says, I hate Corona.
All because of corona --now she is alone--
Now she can’t play outside, can’t hug friends, can’t enjoy favorite chocolates…
Once she was like a free bird –enjoyed freedom and its fruits--
New visitors are flying to see her on this cage, they are singing and dancing freely...
Exclaimed eyes asking: “mamma, are we caged in this box house?”
Everything changed! Humans are caged, and nature is enjoying…

The Uninvited Guests

They both came to visit our home,
But they were never invited.

They were glad and excited,
But we were sad and desperate.

Though we tried to avoid them,
But they came always forcefully.

Then we saw two shiny cute eggs!!
Be it hot or cold, it was always in the pot.

This is when we started waiting…
Beautiful eggs to crack and discover the life.

The balcony was exposed to the sun and sky.
But one day they defeated the hot and cold!!

The babies were too teeny and ugly first.
But so soon they became two pretty pigeons!!

They flew away to the open sky and its freedom…
Below we were standing and witnessed their survival story.

The Real Treasure

This mud isn't new to me, numb hands searching something…
Sticky mud covered my legs, swimming fish gape.
Beam of light took a little peep over the algae, shining sands akin to gold.
Down here mud hide something, touch gave the feeling of metal casket.
Curious eyes desire to discover the treasure of this river.

Tired hands are numb and cold, illusions ride the brain and mind.
Frozen hands and legs tried to defeat hope, but mind gave power.
Hope not yet defeated, childish mind plays in water.
Muddy water wants to flow inside, fish now angry and troubled.
Radiant sun cleared my vision, down here it is my own reflection.

Empty hands started relaxing, views are now clear and astonishing.
Nature’s warmth defeated illusions; swimming here is so heavenly.
Floating body feels like a feather, empty mind rejoices.
Soothing chillness everywhere, craving brain also silent.
Eyes were so blind to find the real treasure, discovering it gave me the real pleasure!!!
