Barb Farley Poem
Motherly, sword thrusting, ebullient, thorny rose.

Barb Farley Poem
My two miracles, black and white lay dreaming.
I roll the last of the Cabernet over my tongue
as I
inhale every drop of the prose she has so skillfully penned;
tannic, yet satisfactory.
The attack.........ripened, smashed cherries
The evolution.......bitter cacoa nibs..........
The finish.......an aftertaste of lonliness and heartbreak....
yet still I want more.

Barb Farley Poem
Fire breathing,
clenched teeth
tongue tied
I have had enough of his drug induced indifference.
Can't speak.......off with the ringer.
He says he isn't like the other druggies...
he must be special
how 'bout the one who died today
but was resucitated twice?
He wasn't like the others either...
Clearly he was special.
Enough of the pity party
There are more than just you hurting on this big lonely rock.
Get over yourself man!
