Never Again

I got myself into a bit of a pickle, 
but there was parts of me that felt tickled, 
I fell down a hole like Alice did, 
and saw Cheshire cat along the way. 

As I skipped through parts of me, 
I felt I had split personality, 
but one dimension I never felt so free, 
I didn't need to be saved. 

So effortless, 
felt loose and useless, 
but in a good way, 
euphoric and free, 
there's no place I'd rather be. 

Then a heard a voice, 
the room turned bleak, 
I felt I could not speak, 
now I really did feel weak. 

It was dark and cold, 
I needed to come to my senses but didn't know how? 
I thought it was some kind of game show, 
"that's it you have had your laugh, you can come out now!" 

Inside Pandoras box, 
was my insecurity, 
waiting to come out of this box for other to see, 
"please!" I begged "don't do this to me!" 

Time felt slow, 
and I started to come back to reality, 
climbing back up a hole, 
this time not literally, 
this whole experience, 
was just not for me.

All Th Words Keep Spinning In My Mind

All the words keep spinning in my mind,
And there is such a fine line,
As I don't want to be wasting my time,
On someone who is just not simply into you.

I always seem to appear fine,
But you don't really know what goes off in my mind,
Maybe it's best that way,
Because you really don't want to hear what I have to say,
All you should know is that I am here to stay, even if you don't feel the same way.

Sometimes I wish I could speak a voice,
But the serpent tongue may make a show
And I would really regret that now,
And the hurt it could cause, but I allow others to make me feel this way.

So I guess you really don't want to know what goes on in my mind, and I really am binding my time,
The time I break down and fall apart,
And sometimes I never know where to start,
But the worst thing of all, I regret it anyway.

Everyday I Go Through Motions

Why everyday I go through emotions? 
When life goes through its twists and turns, 
I need to get my gears in motion, 
For these thoughts they burn.

Sometimes I can't believe how people can be?
With greed, and envy for everyone to see.
How can people feel no empathy?
I will never know because to be honest that's beyond me.

For some are careless, 
Some are weak, 
Some feel hopeless, 
I just take each day as it comes, even if my days are bleak.

Unfortunately 
Today's world isn't for the mild and meak.
Let's hope for change, even if it's years, months or hopefully next week.

Always Looking For Answers

We're always looking for answers
Like there's something we're searching for
Something that really matters
The missing piece to our puzzle
But What will be will be

We never know the fate
That we will face
This is life
Even though it can be confusing
But sometimes you have to be amused
But what will be will be

The rush and the time
That's always on our mind
Looking out for our place in life
But we don't really know the path that is made
So we need to have faith
Because what will be will be

You will go down a long winding road
And nothing is set in stone
Memories will fade
We will realise what we are looking for
Is nothing but a waste of time
But to feel the soil on the very earth
And appreciate what had already existed
But then it will be too little, too late
Because what will be will be.
