A Broken Heart I Met

I once met a broken heart ,
It said it longed for love.
And it'd been yearning so long !
It said there's no God above.
.
For if there was, a God there,
 It wouldn't have to suffer.
And live a life that had ,
Made its survival tougher.
.
So , I asked it to look within ,
If some bit of the love had lasted,
And it came out grieving ,
That out of the blues ,
it had in fact found a casket !
.
And there within the casket lay ,
All the love it longed , it sighed.
Sadly though through pure negligence,
Now all that love had died .
  .
For, since years the heart had been to lands , water and cliffs ,
In hopes of finding some love that belonged it bit by bit.
It had cried and craved for love that was so far,
Never had it cared enough to look into his own jar.
You love yourself ,
God loves you back,
The poor heart didn't know!
And that is the purest love to find ,
May wherever you go.

I Rain

through the storms you've put me through,
through the tiny fragments of hope am clinging to,
through the nightmares,
through my broken mirrors,
I dare to see a dream.

You've had me on the cliffhanger,
and yet happily I dangle.
And there's no pain amiss,
yet, through your darkest abyss,
I let my hand, reach out,
and I sing to the clouds.

You stood at the door,
Blocking my way,
you said, "there's more,
you better pray!"
yet the sunlight has crept,
from within your feet,
and I haven't wept,
but dared to be stronger,
from the last time we met.

Through the dark you put me through,
through the pain you put me to,
I dare to shine.
And isn't it an irony?
that through all this, finally,
I put your efforts in vain,
And your darkness disdain,
I smile, I dream , I shine,
through the tears,
through your clouds, I rain.

Unapologetically Naked

I saw your true self today ,
And am not pleased to know :
That the person I perceived as fire,
Is cold and white as snow.
I loved the mask you carried !
And the way your opinions varied,
With the people around you.
And l would keep it that way ,
If I were to be in your shoe.
But you let your emotions rule ,
You let your strength fade ,
And then expect me all of a sudden ,
To love you in all your shades ?
Hear me , take my word for this.
If you act well , I'll forgive you miss !
Just pick up that mask you dropped.
Paint your face with a smile and walk.
Keep your inside to yourself.
Hide your darkness in locked shelves.
Be the person who's more like me
Coz' the show must go on , you see ?
Do not show yourself wrecked ,
Do not let go off your facade,
Coz' No one loves a person ,
 A person unapologetically naked.

Your Storms Don'T Define You

The most brutal of storms ,
have not the courage to uproot the kindest hearts ,
.
The most violent rains ,
could soak you ,
couldn't dampen the soul .
.
And what keeps me going
 is my burning desire ,
to live , to love, to dream,
.
As it was all left burning bright into flames,
after the strongest of winds died out.
