Antique

Your love shown like an antique bloodstain on the dress of our decay.
You pushed your hand through
the over grown garden to crush the final living rose.
Blood seeped from your pores.
We held hands on our last night on earth.
We dance on the graves of loved ones lost.
And we kissed under the trees
and under the sky.
We sold our souls to the vampire in our dreams.
We sung about broken hearts and lost souls as we cried.
We were never meant to be.
You can take these tears.
Watch the blood drenched TV screen flicker with anticipation.
Dancing in our sorrow.
And singing in unrivaled beauty.

Blood Tears

the frost on the windows
made his shadow
made his hate
made her pain
and the blood tears ran down her face
as he turned and left her all alone
and the cold blade sliced through her skin
leaving her numb in silence
alone and broken

To End What It Began

Once upon a time in a magical land
There was a girl and fairies danced in her hands.
Her hair was deep black and her face was pale blue,
And cast an abyss of sorrow no one once knew.
Eyes greener than the trees in the night,
Shown vacantly in the store bought lights.
She watched her friends falter.
She felt her world collapse.
She let the blood run down her face,
Staining her cheeks in a rapid pace.
Inception is where it ended.
Hate is where it started.
In the middle love struggled to end what it began

Fades

I watched the red red sun set
& listened to sunny day play
all i'm missing in this sad sad setting
is some coffee and cigarettes
the thought of you crosses my mind
as my hand moves across this page
& your bracelet catches my eye
there wasn't anything i wanted more in this (very) moment
than to feel your hand in mine
instead, i stand in this cold cold room
watching from my window sill
& as the light fades
in this sad sad setting
& sunny day continues to play
i think nothing but of you
& how i hope your sunny day fades into the night
just as beautifully as the red red sun (did)
