There's a raging war in the world today
it has taken me miles and oceans away.
It has taken me to a far away place.
Where each lonely night, I remember your face.
But please do not cry, not one little tear,
because when you rest at night, I am there.
As you drift to dreamland each night in your bed,
I am the voice going round in your head.
I am the strong arms that are holding you tight.
I am the kiss you feel, as I whisper good night.
I am with you always, in your heart and your soul.
my strong arms will hold you and never let go.
Remember my love and in your heart you will keep,
Sometimes you will smile, sometimes you will weep.
I may be far away, but please do not worry,
at the end of my tour, to your arms I will hurry.
Always remember me when you look toward the skies.
I am always with you in your smiles and cries.

Eyes glaring, love’s deep;
Heart-felt secrets keep;
Burried deep, love is kept;
Heartbreak stirs, lovers wept;
Love fills, hearts loudly pound;
Search no more, love found;
Amber silents, daylight violets;
Custom stares;
Love comes here;
Love is where there is caring faith;
Loves committed grace;
A chance we come together;
Writing this love letter, caressing rhymes;
For all times;
Shall we write together "letters" and "words";
O love of love lets us write nigh...
Come write with me, calvary so lets elaborate,
Shall we, yes we will collaborate
Write together, as time flows
From past to future, love grows
Holding on tight, years pass;
Heart beats, the love lasts;
Love begins at first sight;
shinning, faces show heart light;

Daniel Bristol Poem
Once I looked through the eyes of a younger man,
He was filled with life, and always said, "yes I can."
But he lacked confidence, and he was unsure;
He lacked determination, and he was immature.
Many tasks were incomplete, but he did one thing right;
He held on to his dream, and he continued to fight.
There were good times and bad, he fought through them all;
Times when he moved forward, or his back was against the wall;
Life would give him lemons, and then spill his lemonade;
Time he couldn't earn enough to pay for the bed he made;
Though accomplishing many things, one task still out of sight;
He held on to his dream, he continued to fight.
Now I look through the eyes of an older man;
Confident and smarter, I still say I can;
Many medals and awards, I've earned through the years;
There have been ups and downs, some laughs and tears;
My path may be winding, my path may be long;
But my choices brought me to exactly where I belong;
I have made some mistakes, but I still do all right;
I will hold onto my dream, I will continue to fight.
