Beholder

She walked along the warm and salty beaches of a Bahamian dream, while the radiance of the suns kiss danced on her honey baked skin quickly painting a caramel hue of beauty. She illustrated the kind of beauty that his wonderings were just surreal of the real queen he crowned. She was not the usual epitome of the beholder, but in his eyes, she permeated his soul that soaked through every space once filled with fantasies of melancholy that were nightmares of a dream. She restored his happiness that was void but had been resurfaced by her glorious existence.
Now he did not quite showcase the handsomeness of the handsome but in her eyes he caught the salty streams that walked down her face many times but now exhibiting hope of despairs fear of joy and peace of a piece of his lost but resuscitated heart. With future wonderings, they are their personal personnel of the task, job hired by the almighty of heavenly white without any shades of pink slips between iridescent fingers entangled as one beautiful piece of lace that laces their hearts. Their destiny is only determined by an infinite possibility of infinity that may be…or not.

Resurrection

Resurrection

I need to go back in not ready to be exposed, came out with fragile wings and tethered feathers. The security of my place of solitude keeps one from invading my thoughts; my heart has shattered from the cruelness of a love promised but is now lost.
I need to go back in my one wing tried to fly, but knocked down by the elements of my life a mystery trying to unfold. The attempt to seek refuge from my mind is twisted thoughts of insecurities. I tried to come out but was smothered by loves hate.
I need to go back in one wing has lifted up, but not enough stability to withstand a night- mare of dreams with the realities of my world hidden from harms way.
Maybe there is a chance for my wings to one day fly, but will they continue to hide underneath my warm body of safeness.
I need to come out two wings have unfolded into position and I won’t let the fear of a life of uncertainties cause them to tuck back into a flightless path of doom.
I think they are ready to help me peel away those layers of sensitivity of a deep soul revealing the love that is finally within.
I’m coming out! I’m coming out! Both wings are standing regal and tall. Confidence has a sanctuary and is ready to reveal a love that was once lost.
My soul is at peace and my emotions have gained composure of my heart that was once severed but is now mended and will love again.
