Move Me, Pull Me, Fill Me

Move me into the light
Pull me away from these ghosts
Fill me with something I can feel
Awaken every inch of me with your touch
It's like waking from a nightmare
Your hands keep me burning inside
Longing for more
Your mouth electrifies me
Needing you deeper and deeper
Pushing,pulling,screaming,awakening to something primal
Everything fades as you sink your teeth into my skin
Nothing left but desire
Move in me
Harder and harder
Until everything explodes
And all that is left is peace
In the fire that surrounds us
An escape to a place I can lose myself
If only for a moment that feels like eternity
Tasting you
Touching you
Feeling you as I come undone
Unhinged from this world
The deeper you go
The harder you move
The more you shake me to my core
A pls only you can find
I long to be your slave

Mourning

The light shines down
Chilling my soul with its flame
The pain of loss
Rips my spirit apart
I lose myself in the depths of sorrow
Which overwhelms me with the loneliness
Journeying into the pit of never-ending sleep
I find myself swimming about
In the shallow abyss
Looking for a glimmer of life
That I have yet to live
I find there is none

Lost

Confused and lost
sitting in a place full of ghosts
longing for love I will never find
hoping one day someone will understand me
holding my heart close behind this wall
wanting someone to take it and keep it safe
knowing it will never happen
no one can see past the wall that's in place
hiding who I am from prying eyes
never letting anyone see my longing
never able to find the door to let them in
being ever eluded by the truth
a truth only felt from love
no one really sees me
no one really cares to look

Age's Scorching Sun

I’m trapped beneath age’s scorching sun
Tossed by indecisive winds
I walk alone in the chilled night
Lost in shadows misguiding light
Fortress of adulthood shaky
Held in sage
By apparitions of careless days
I must find the combination
Swing open ancient memories gate
Grant my brief escape
So that I might touch a truth
I juggled so carelessly with the hands of youth
Treasures adolescent spoiled
Plundered wealth with no regard
Blind to priceless treasures owned
Exit treasure forever gone
Day’s I ran without the weight of age
Seemed endless summer
Summer play
All down hill past thoughts deep well
No time to drink
Though parents yell
Skipping stone this young boys song
Fresh pond
Young life
No wakes have yet descended upon
Decisions made for pleaser only
To elusive to be trapped by lonely
Deaf as elders babble warning
Blind to tides in change
Curtain falls
Orchestra stops
Eternal play youth is not
Place on stage not where you thought
The lines that once flowed like blood through veins
Sound empty strained
Almost tasting
Almost sensing
Silent moments wasted grieving
Almost hearing
Almost feeling
Almost
Almost the same as none
I try to warn my growing son
Eluding me
He is on the run
From emotion to emotion
Stone to stone
Too soon he will understand my concern
As the road he travels
Becomes not so long
To quick comes the final gun
To quick the rise of a different sun
Youth’s giddy moments glowing
Turn your head the moments gone
Memories will linger on
Howling in the nights loneliest moments
Shadows melt under some day’s warnings
Heaviness grows
Roses turn to weed that choke
This new sun finds me faded old
Deaf to youth’s blaring song
Sometimes nostalgic breezes bring in a drift
Shadows ghost ships
Essence
Enchantments
Enchanting
Taunting
Teasing
Without revealing
Lyrics owned by young hearts dreaming
Dreaming without ceasing
Easy for young ones scheming

Loss of Life's Youth

Life runs through the fingers of an aging woman
As she sits by the light of the broken window
In the chair that rocks with each strained breath
The same chair that once sent her children
Into the land of innocent dreams
In which they were too soon lost
Memories no longer comfort her in this passage of time
They all but kill her in this lonely moment
And her empty soul longs to join the loved ones that she has lost
The ones that went without her into the light
Clutter her mind with undying pain
Her longing helps her not
For here she sits staring out that broken window
Watching as life passes by with the quickness which it posses
Watching as the children unknowingly die with each passing second
Watching as people live life never knowing its true worth

The Wall

Do you think you know me?
Do you want to?
The tough thick skin you soften with your touch
Hides only something far penetrate.
You move in me and melt ice
but only a little.
The wall that surrounds the truth
Is thick and well built many years before you.
The truth is hidden behind my indifference
The feeling muted by the numbness
If only I could be who I was
Before many trampled through the courtyard
Leaving behind only ruin and decay
A place that was filled with the light of love and hope
Now shadowed behind the great wall
All inside is dying
The screaming from behind the wall is deafening
As the girl who loves screams to be released
Begs to be allowed to love
But she remains trapped behind the wall forever
She who is not afraid to love with her entire soul
Who longs to be loved and dreams the pinkest of lovely dreams
Laughing I quiet her pleading
For I know the truth
To love is to invite only misery
The only good she has is hidden behind that wall
And it is the only part that deserves protecting
Let them come and trample her body
Her heart will remain intact

False Hope

The sun had begun to shine through the clouds
And the rain has finally stopped
My soul is no longer pulled down towards the muddy waters
And the river has become shallow and stagnate
My heart soars high above the world of sorrow
To a planet ruled by happiness and love
I am no longer drowning in memories
But I am walking through the garden of peace and expectation
The future stands before me
And it is replete with endless possibilities

Inconstant Lover

I need you
For without you I cease to live
Your breath fills me with the sweetness of life
Your shadow lies upon the ground
And cloaks me with its warmth
The touch of your soul washes over me
Leaving me with a yearning as I have never felt
Your heart blocks the sun
And yet your face is all I need
In you I have found peace of mind
Your luminary existence
Covers my soul like the light of the cold moon
And changes with each passing phase
Though inconstant
Your love is all I know

Passing By

Through out the years
Time fades into the cold mist
Of forgotten dreams and broken memories
Bearing down on the old soul
The empty years become lost regrets
The wishing stars
Die and become one with the vast sky
As the hope of youth vanish
Fate strikes with its vengeful hand
Wiping away the beauty of life
Cries of carefree days
Too soon become nothing but passing thought
The bright light of days gone by
Blind the vision of days to come
Making the journey seem longer
As the way is lost
In the fog of dazzling memories
That seems to haunt
Life’s fancy is soon distant
With the passing of time
Drawing memories on the face of beauty
And crippling the soul
That once danced about so freely
In the warmth of the dying sun
In the laughter of children
Echoes the damnation of destiny
Losing the shine of time
In the daze of splendor
The songs glorious melody
Becomes lost in the screams of reality
The sands of time fall
And the looking glass fills with faded shadows
Of days gone by
The beautiful sun shines down
Chilling the decaying skin of old.

To See You, To Hear You

Do you think I could have a light
I know it's been a long time
Do you see in me what you saw before
or have my eyes become those of a stranger
I'm not here to complicate things
I didn't come to see those tears in your eyes
To see your face
To hear your voice
To know that you still think of me is enough
You look good
Your eyes look less haunted than before
even after all of these years
I can't breathe standing this close to you
even now if you kiss me I will fall to my knees
I see in you all of the things I loved before
I'm not here to complicate things
I didn't come here for you to see these tears in my eyes
To touch your face
To hear your voice
To feel that you still think of me is enough
We both have lives now
we both have people we love
my man is good and he loves me completely
you have a woman that loves you and had given you her all
we can't hurt them as we did before
So we will share a few cigarettes
and talk about the weather
leaving everything else unsaid
but i will go away happy
just to see your face
to hear your voice
to know that you still think of me is enough
