A Mother's Kiss

The footsteps of the children
ring through out the town.
Gallaping fast,
Gallaping slow,
Listening to the tiempo.
People hear,
People stair,
Now everyone cares.
Mothers call,
run to the dinner hall.
Time to go to bed.
A glass of water,
She remembers what mother taught her,
And a Mother's Kiss sends her right to sleep.

Inside Is Your Heart

Inside there is a fire
Burning out of control.
Inside is a passion
So fierce you can’t contain.
Inside emotions and memories
Float around and influence like an inspirational word.
Inside is a monster
Competing with your thoughts.
But inside is your heart
Which shows you the right way.

A Lost Soul

As the thunder smacks throughout the night
the little boy still sleeps.

The lightning cracks and shakes the house
but the snores still seem to come.

Rain smashes down on the roof of the house
but the boy just won't awake.

Because he's dreaming of a long lost mother
who died on a day quite like today.

A New Journey

As the mellow sun
touches down on the gleaming ocean
the shining blue sky fades
into a sorrow sleep and
washes away the beautiful day
only to start a new
journey.

The Morning Sunlight

While the morning darkness fades away

The elegance of the light

Prances along the gleaming sky

Gathering the fagged minds

Into a hypnotizing trance

That takes you on a lifelong journey

Of cheer and hope.

One Hit Away

The sound of the fans.
The voice in your head.
You walk to the plate.
The silence extends.
The sound of the ball.
Cutting through the air.
The swing of the bat.
Without a care.
The crowd go's silent.
They look in the sky.
But then they realize.
It's going to fly.
Over the fence.
Beyond the shade.
They all look.
Then my point was made.
I hit that ball.
And scored one run.
But thats all i needed.
To have fun.

The Wonders of the World

The stars in the sky
Flicker as if dancing among the asteroids.
The sun boils in the sky
As if burning like an internal passion.
The comets scream across the galaxy
As if breathing lifeless air.
And the Earth levitates
As if living without a care.

A Tragedy

The sweat droped from his tatherd shirt
as he realized his fate was near.

He paused between sentences because
he couldn't belive it was finally here.

The day, time, and place was different
but it was all the same.

The feeling, thoughts, and moments
all filled with pain.

As he looked up he saw the light
which brought him feelings of shame.

One last glance to fill him with content
but as he looked it all came.

The visions and remembrance
was brought over him.

He rememberd that car crash
where all that was left was a tire rim.

Then he realized who was on the floor
laying next to him in the pasengers seat.

He fagged eyes opened to see
he was sitting in a hospital seat.

The doctor walked in and
it filled him with dread.

"Mr. Jones, Im sorry
your wife Lynn is dead."

New Life

Six hours past and it still isn't over.
Your palms sweat and your body shaking.
The mind raceing with your thoughts.
All these questions, no answers.
You panic, friten and scared.
The pain and watching is to much.
But your love keeps you in touch.
One last push and a life is born.
The parents hold there new baby boy.

One Shot

Identity of the unknown,
Travels down a narrow road.
Misjudged and scared,
But he couldn’t hold….
Emotion from controlling,
The one thing in life he admired, and loved.
But it was taken away,
Within a single day,
He couldn’t withhold fear or depression.
So he used a weapon,
As an impression.
On that man, that very day.
He shot him then he turned away,
From life and love all at once.
He didn’t know what else to do,
And no one else had a clue.
Why he shot that man, that day
But he knows in every way.
He killed that man,
On that day.
Because his life was down the drain.
He made wrong choices,
Along the narrow road.
And with One Shot, his story was told.
