Wishing, Waiting, Wondering

Wishing, waiting, wondering for
What you have in store for me
I stand here knocking at the door
But you keep it all a mystery
Till the day comes, you will open that door
And show me what you've planned long before
Any mountains were made or created the sea
I have dreams, hopes, and aspirations
But overall, I strive for you, my rock,
My fixation
My mind soars at your wonder
For You, I know, can do all things
I've seen the lightning and heardt the thunder
Until the time comes, I know I will be safe
beneath your wings

Resurrection

Slowly dying day by day
Save me God, oh this i pray
Dead to the world as it seems
Though no one can hear my screams,
Muffled under the weight of night.
Travelin' the tunnel with no end in sight.
Use your hand to guide my way
Down this dark path I go astray.
Darker.
And darker.
The end is coming near.
It's like a horror film and I am filled with fear.
Then around the bend I go.
Anything could save me from this dismal low.
I see the light at the other side.
Oh, God this is a crazy ride.
My entire life flashes before my eyes.
I've walked a thousand miles in shoes that aren't my size.
My heart stops.
It stops.
My eyes open from the darkness and the weight has shifted.
My burdens have beeen lifted.
I see the world unfold before me.
Places to explore in the magical blue sea.
I'm awake adn feeling fresh
A chance to relive my life, but in the same flesh.
I've seen the sacrifices I have made
The path I chose caused my dreams to fade
But now I start anew.
The regrets I have will now be few.
I woke up from this dark nightmare,
Moments like these are rare.
I hear the whispering wind call my name
Telling me to caome away and leave my shame.
Farther.
And farther.
Leave my past behind.
The future is what i need to find.
My eyes have seen the terror without you,
I turn my back to what I have been through.
I have the chance to make a correction,
For it's my own resurrection.

Sunrise

I've been awake for a while now,
Sun is rising out my window pane
Shadows flash as we pass the trees
The train is slow, but I'm at ease.
The golden hue upon the fields
Makes me feel like it's a fresh new day.
Feelings come and feelings go
Just like the sun rise and set,
Some to remember, and some to forget.
YOu reach the mid-day peak,
Then sneak behind the mountains once again.
It never stays, you can count on that.
Gently rocking me to sleep,
But the sun is staring right into my face
It's reaching rays growing as it comes over the horizon
Telling me to appriciate what is now.
The quiet hush of wind as it brisks past the engine.
The first woken up grin.

Do You Trust Me Enough?

You are the reason for my beating heart.
You are my mid-day pick me up.
You are there and you care.
Everything on earth You have made,
Your love will never fade.
Your hands molded the mountains, and your mind thought up the sea.
You have made it all, and yet my faith has a tendancy to fall.
Then you ask:
Do you trust me enough?
I molded the mountains with my bare hands
I put the details into the roaring seas
I created your heart to love, trust, and feel,
Beating life through your veins,
And still you hold tight to the reigns.
Let me take you pain, your hurts, and sorrow
Give me your doubts, your wishes, your dreams.
Show your all, I will catch you when you fall.
Do you trust me enough?
