Mister Potato Head
Here I am at the smorgasbord again
I really love it like a long lost friend
Better than what I ate in the Navy
Roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy
Cornbread and beans and crispy fried chicken
Collard greens and fresh fruits for the pickin'
There's soups and salads and pastas galore
The way I eat, some ends up on the floor
Sliced ham and cheese and mustard on bread
I think I'd like an egg custard instead
There's more scrumptious desserts than meets the eye
From blackberry cobbler to pecan pie
I'll need some strong coffee for when I'm done
If I keep this up, I'm going to weigh a ton
It all looks so good I've just got to try it
Maybe it's time I go back on a diet
