Tanka Tears

You had lots of fun
At the local where drinks flowed.
Night took you away...
One last breath in mangled wreck;
My heart aches. Why can’t I cry?

Time to say goodbye my love

My chain is now frail
Damaged by your weaken link

My venture begins
Left with simple forgiveness

Unwarranted departure.

Hard Choices

silently I sit
although my mind shouts loudly
no one sees how deep
this inner conflict reaches
noiselessly, heart wounds bleed out

Crying is Every Hurt

She cries tears of pain The heartache he left for her Tears that turn to blood By the hurt that she now feels Nothing is worse than this pain She doesn’t feel now No other understanding Comes to her hurt mind She’s corrupted by horror Listlessness of her being There are streaks of tears The pain enveloped within Her heart beats outside Her cold life lies meaningless Darkness is all that she sees Her heart feels nothing She lies staring at the wall The tears do not feel They are empty, meaningless They just are there, falling down Tears represent pain The passion of hopelessness But while on their own They are nothing and empty But crying is every hurt

LOVING BROTHERS

	                            UNSUPPORTED CODE

                                Loving Brothers

                           Hand hitting the face
                        Red burning titty twisters
                          Throbbing charley horse
                     Bone braking grizzly bear hug
               “Now, do you submit?, . . . . ”Uncle!”

Moving On

There she was standing
In her small tiny room
The city was so big
Shining under the moon
She looked at her clothes in her closet
She was ready to pack
'How man times', she said to herself,
'Am I going to have to do that?!'
The case was still empty
But soon it would be
Filled up with some clothes along her memories
Filled up with tears and laughter and feelings so pure
Where she would go to
She still wasn't sure
Sad feelings surrounded her
Tears she had to fight
Took the last look at the room
Then turned out the lights
And soon after walking
In the darks of the night

The sun slowly cam up
Telling her,' it'll be alright!'
Moving on

THE NIGHT WILL ALWAYS COME

Trees swaying at night
Dark…with stars shimmering bright
Silhouettes of you
I hear the music inside
It has stopped and you are gone

Words Unspoken

It can’t be the same
Once a heart has been broken
Can’t go back again
Don’t offer that peace token
Please leave your words unspoken….

No Knowledge

I have no knowledge
why pains in my arms and back
pursues me daily
I try to rise from my bed
but the pain is hard to bare

I lay in my bed
having no understanding
of the pains reason
for making me miserable
whenever I try to walk

Hungry as a bee
seeking flowering nectar
in the summer breeze
low and behold there is none
in this torso racked with pain

So I retreated
with my leg across my knee
my kindle fire
munching on honey and oats
until my pains is no more

or at least retreats
deep within my consciousness
numbing my body
from the heat of your anger
making me weary from stress

The Wound

With tears I cleansed it
Made sure that no dirt remained
Bandaged and covered it up
The wound of my heart
I daily check for healing
Once again exposed- it bleeds.

Long Rain

with my child
on my shoulder, i walk
in the long rain
carrying the heaviness
of shattered dreams

hells inferno

shrill screams of pain and
terror written on faces
of children running
to nowhere from hell on earth
delivered by winged demons

Obscurity

What is hidden?
Behind your smile on lips
Wet eyes revealing
Smile’s sunshine concealing
Both on different page.

Hurt on Halloween

Jack-O-Lantern, please She sleeps through this very night She wants to avoid All the spry black cats tonight As the ghosts come out to play She desires to leave Behind her, all the deceit Wearing a costume Brings a false image that she Does not want to entertain There was a pain that This night brought to her in the Not so distant past When witches came and brought out Cursing relationships harsh Party tonight she Desires to avoid, aversion Of highest degree The night creatures will stay In their own places this night She will have nothing To do with the evil of Of this evening Hate so large pain envelopes Her soul and tears form within Always hurt inside Just a blind man searching life With a broken cane Never knowing sure what you have Just a vague image she has

Drifting in Decaying Grey

I'm awake, but where A decaying grey surround I'm floating, I drift My soul, swallowed by the breeze What of me now, diminishes .

The Mirror

My pain does not show
I bury it far too deep
the pain in my soul
I hide away from myself
then the mirror shows my eyes
