The Spirit Prevails

It is a new day
Something wonderful happened
You are now at peace
Like a phoenix rising up
From the ashes you prevail

We shall not mourn you
For you are not gone at all
We may not see you
Your presence lives on in us
Enduring the test of time

Radiant light shines
Upon us all forever
Glorious rays gleam
Emitting from your spirit
Keeping your memory strong

The lives you have touched
Will never forget you now
Though we may shed tears
These are tears of happiness
Your spirit forever reigns

In the days to come
When we are all together
Celebrating life
Your spirit will consume us
Your peace will be our strength

Joy and happiness
Will be felt every moment
You gave us reason
To have faith in the future
Your legacy will live on…………..

Key West Sunset

Celebrate the joy

You have lived another day

Spectrum in the sky

By the grace of God, go I

Join the sundown revelry

*Each day in Key West, they have a party outside to watch the sun go down. It is
quite a magical moment if you are able to participate and offer thanks.

Gracefully Bows As She Leaves

Forest alive now
Autumn colors brilliant glow
Poplar_ Maple grow
Colors seen_red, yellow, rust
Auroras of autumn flow

Elegantly dressed
For the last ball before snow
She smiles at artist
As he gathers paints blends shades
Painting her colorful gown

As sunlight dances
Against gown that glows with dew
Gracefully she bows
As bare limbs begin to show
Last of grace before first snow

Rejoicing in life
soul’s jubilation singing
raising of voices

Praises of joy unto Him
uplifting mortal spirit

Air pollution in cities

We should plant more trees
In the cities of the world
Beside the roads
And on the roofs of buildings
To reduce air pollution

What Am I

Formed in a desert A true friend whom you can stand Waves may put me down Still, I raise you in near place To show you the vast ocean. I have pallid skin Yet, aids to build your pillars We’ll be elated Surrounded by a cold breeze My soft dust-grains feel your hands. Storm waves rebuild me I remain in windswept place Of natures’ embrace I feel God in you- His grace, ‘Tis inspires and gives me strength. What Am I to you If I am only like hills? Despite life’s changes For you, I’ll always be there, To show you my love and care.
